The location was a little further from the town centre than we had expected and had we not been able to make use (with the unfailing help of the family members and the staff at the town Tourist Information Office) of the excellent Post Bus Shuttle service, without a car it would have been difficult to get around.

A hotel with the charming atmosphere of an old monastery. A magical place, enhanced by the time before Christmas and the Christmas markets right next to the hotel. Great maisonette room, perfectly equipped. Amazingly quiet place. Excellent hotel restaurant Benedictus with very helpful and accommodating staff. Excellent breakfast. A huge advantage is the underground parking lot with direct access to the hotel. Extremely nice staff, thank you all for a wonderful stay. The first hotel to which we give 10 in all parameters.

It was a perfect view and the woman was nice and she gave us eggs and milk from her cows , she even helped us and gave us electric plugs when we needed it , everything was clean and good place overall .

We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel – a truly delightful establishment with wonderful staff. As a family-run business, it offers everything one could need to explore the charming surroundings of Salzburg. The location is excellent, situated close to all the lovely small towns. Sebastian and his mother take exceptional care of their guests in a warm and welcoming manner. We highly, highly recommend it.

Pension Winter was conveniently located (around 10/15 minutes' walk from Irrsee Lake). The accommodation had a lovely, calm atmospehere. Our apartment was very clean and convenient. Unfortunately, I had to leave early, but I think the rest of our group enjoyed their stay very much. I would definitely like to come back. The owner and her family were very friendly and helpful. Thank you!
The accommodation met all our expectations. It is a high-standard, yet homely place to stay. For those who enjoy a rural environment, it is a true gem. Premium cleanliness, spacious areas. Although we did not arrive with children, it is clear that it is very important for families with children to have a good time.

If you are without a vehicle and dependent of a public...
If you are without a vehicle and dependent of a public transport, you are in for some massive dissapointments. There are zero public transportation available on weekends and the cab costs 45 Euros to pick you from the nearest railway station ( 6 km), to the hotel. This one was a deal breaker for us. We paid for 2 nights but stayed for just a night.
