It s very peaceful. The property belongs to the same family for many générations. Our room was very comfortable with a lot of intimacy right in front of a pond surrounded by green végétation. The owner, full of attention, had already reserved for us ( that we could cancel if we disagreed ) a table for dinner in another property. The meal and the environment were excellent. Located 10 minutes' drive from Oudtshoorn, AfriCamps Klein Karoo is a set on a working ostrich farm. It offers luxury tented accommodation in an intimate setting with a private wooden deck overlooking the natural surroundings and estate. We are a family of five and we stayed for three nights in a beautiful, very spacious and clean tent at Africamps. We had a wonderful view on the little lake and enjoyed the sunset with a glass of wine. The ordered braai- and breakfast baskets were great and I would recommend doing this south african style barbecue. We also participated in a meerkat safari, which we loved.

Great location, welcome and service. Had a super stay. Took an extra night to enjoy the bush and trails properly. Could easily have stayed longer but for time restraints.

Dinner was good and the presentation was excellent. Good variety on the menu. Free drinks were welcomed. Night swimming was good.

The property was very recently purchased by new owners who are quite obviously putting in the effort to make the property even better. It’s got great bones and I’m sure when their vision comes to life it will be truly amazing. They were very kind and offered us great service, including a very tasty breakfast. Our room was comfortable and thankfully had heating for the very cold night. I would definitely recommend!
