We had the small 'queen bed' room. In a nutshell - as a 4 star hotel should be. And very reasonable price for a establishment of this category.

We are in the Shasta Trinity National forest. Nearest restaurant is 5 miles away, nearest gas station 8 miles away, nearest grocery store 12 miles away. We are "not" a city location. We do "not" serve dinner (only breakfast). We do not sell groceries or convenience store items! Cell phones go "out of range" in our area. We email/ call and text you close to your arrival date to ensure a smooth check in. Nice service. We ordered dinner, which was delicious Indian food.

Each room is uniquely decorated and includes luxurious bedding. There is a flat-screen TV with cable channels. The room was larger than most hotel rooms, and very well appointed. Separate area with sofa for watching tv, plus nice desk for reading. Good temperature control. Fine shower, comfy bed. Breakfast was more like a bed and breakfast style breakfast in a pretty dining room and a couple of tasty options. I wish every hotel was this!
