Private, very quiet and some good restaurants in walking distance. Our car was parked on the property behind a gate that can be closed. The welcoming by the host was really good, making us feel right at home. On the kitchen table was a welcoming gift: A bottle of wine, juice, several different cuts of delicious cured ham and fresh bread. We had choosen Sežana because it is near Trieste and near the beautifull Skocjan caves. Yes, we highly recommend this apartment!

The location was perfect for us to enjoy the nice house/ building/ garden. The owners fully renovated the old house from 1835 into something special, into today’s requirements while keeping the authenticity of the building, rooms and apartments. The environment is lovely and gives plenty of opportunity of sightseeing (we did a lot by bicycles) to enjoy nature and the old villages in between the lovely wineries. In Stanjel, you can find a very nice loungebar, restaurant to enjoy lunch and/ or dinner in a beautiful setting! Quality of service and food is very good!
