Staying at this hotel exceeded my expectations. I am most impressed with the staff. During our stay we decided to leave the city and spend a couple of days on the beach. The lady at the reception, Sara Fundo, made numerous phone calls (on a Sunday!) and organized a swap between Pestana Hotel in Lisbon with Pestana in Alvor for a couple of nights, without us paying a cent. Overall, the hotel is very clean and well maintained. As I already mentioned, the staff is exceptional. The location is great, right in the center of the city and close to numerous landmarks.

Guests can enjoy the on-site bar and free WiFi is available throughout the property. The way the staff was taking care of the overall social life of the guests gave me a sense of inclusion. As a solo traveler, I found that really welcoming and helped to make new friends.

Its suites, terraces, pools and gardens offer stunning and panoramic views over the city centre, Tagus River and the São Jorge Castle. the view was immaculate! the pool area is so beautiful. We stayed at one of the apartments and it was very spacious.
