I knew this place would be next to the mangroves, but I did NOT expect the mangroves to be right next to the open-air common area outside our room! And there's a short 1-2 minute walkway through the mangroves, leading to the river where you can go kayaking and even waterbiking (though there's only one bike). What a beautiful experience to sleep to the sounds of nature and wake up to the birds chirping. I also saw some strange possum/lemur-like animal climbing through the trees while I was having breakfast!

The staff was SUPER friendly, every morning you got fresh coffee and some coockies? ( don’t know exactly what is was, but it was good) The fact that there is no AC in the shared room really doesn’t matter, at night it’s a bit windy so it’s really ok! I definitely come back to this hostel! It’s one of the places you book for 2 nights but it might end up longer! 😁 so be aware of that! Thank you!

We only stayed for two nights but would have extended if we didn’t already have flights booked! The restaurant on site has beautiful food and there is not many places around.

The host was very kind and helpful. I did last minute reservation and I'm very happy I did because the place was perfect, was clean and comfy. Thanks for everything.
