Great value for the money. The common area is very nice and guests are consistently wonderful people. I also enjoyed the communal dinner. The staff will set you up with locally guided tours to Cotopaxi and local mountain guides for surrounding peaks (I highly recommend Javier and Jaime).

At the hostel, all rooms are equipped with a balcony with a mountain view. The units at Hostal Cloud Forest come with a private bathroom and bed linen. Definitely the owners, patricia and Jose, and the staff were the highlight of our stay. For any given question, problem or ask they were always promptly ready to help with anything. The second greatest highlight was the food — it was really good too!

Loads of animals including friendly dogs. Reception/dining area reminded me of a cosy English country pub. The hosts organised a guide at short notice to take us to Cotopaxi.

Staff on-site can arrange a shuttle service. The house was very comfortable, and the hosts were very thoughtful. They gave great instructions on how to locate the property. They delivered breakfast the following morning, and it was delicious.
