Hotel Belvedere Locarno, a superior 4-star hotel, is open year-round and offers 90 rooms and suites with beautiful views of Lake Maggiore, the city and the mountains. Het hotel heeft uitstekend personeel, een zeer goed restaurant (wel prijzig) en een uitstekend ontbijt. Door de iets hogere ligging hebben de kamers uitzicht op het meer en het is maar 5 minuten lopen naar het leuke centrum van Locarno. Het is wel steil omhog lopen vanuit het centrum naar het hotel, maar je kunt ook de tandradbaan nemen die een halte bij het hotel heeft. Het hotel verkoopt kaartjes voor een gereduceerd tarief. Het wellnesscentrum is uitstekend. Heerlijk zwembad en jacuzzi. De massages zijn ook uitstekend. De yogaklas in het weekend was ook erg goed. Heerlijke kamer met balkon en zeer goed bed.

LUGANODANTE Boutique & Lifestyle Hotel beschikt over een bar, en bevindt zich in het centrum van Lugano, op 4 minuten lopen van treinstation Lugano. The customer support was the best that we have ever had in a hotel!!! The location was perfect in the city center, also the parking and the access to hotel was so convenient!!! The breakfast absolutely excellent!!!! And of course the room was perfectly cleaned!!! Really it’s worth 10/10!!!!

De kamer is basic maar schoon, koffie- en theezetfaciliteiten aanwezig, moderne badkamer, goede matrassen, gratis parkeren naast het verblijf, genoten van een zeer goed diner en uitgebreid ontbijt.

Uncomplicated and efficient communication. We booked on short notice and everything went well! Very cosy cabin.

Katiusca is truly the most sweet, kind, generous, warm, and welcoming host. She literally welcomed us with open arms and was so kind to us from the very first message when we had booked our stay months prior. We feel like we made a new friend! She went out of her way to explain and answer our questions regarding restaurant reservations and activities in the area. She verified times for us for the little train that goes around Bellinzona, which is an adorable little train ride and she gave us tips about the local markets and was so attentive to our every need. She offered us lovely goods from the bakery for breakfast and the vanilla croissant was so delicious and the bread she provided every day for us was some of the best bread we've ever had! And the view from our "Blue Balance" room was absolutely stunning! It had a floor to ceiling window with a gorgeous balcony and we could see the mountains and the town and the castles and there aren't enough woods in the world to say how fabulous the view was and we were able to see from the comfort of our room fireworks on New Year's Eve. The view from the shared kitchen was lovely and we were able to heat some basic things on the stove. There was no microwave but it wasn't necessary for us. She is such a lovely person and gave extra pillows in the room at our request because we were recovering from an injury. She gave us beautiful gifts when we left and offered us fantastic Prosecco when we arrived. All in all it was an extraordinary exceptional stay and we highly recommend it. She is a truly kind warm and welcoming person.

Villa by @ Home Hotel Locarno is gelegen in Locarno, op 13 minuten lopen van Piazza Grande Locarno, en biedt conciërgediensten, allergievrije kamers, een tuin, gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie en... This was one of the most beautiful and luxurious places where we have ever stayed! Our room with huge terrace was gorgeous, both modern and functional, and tastefully designed with antique furniture. The bed was large and very comfortable. We slept with the double doors wide open, and woke up with a view of the mountains. Since the weather was good, we spent much time on the terrace, which was our extended living room. The fancy espresso maker in the room did not have decaf capsules, so after mentioning this to our hosts, they graciously provided a different espresso maker in the shared kitchen. That kitchen has everything you could wish for. The bathroom attached to our room was new and gorgeous, with a bathtub as well as a shower.

The hotel is located in a small village on a place in a nostalgic building. There is a nice courtyard and the hotel has also a resuarant, where the breakfast is served. The 3- or 4-bed room consisted of 2 separate rooms, divided through curtains. The first room was bigger than the second and we had a private bathroom, which was outside of the sleeping rooms, due to the architecture of the building. The personnel was very friendly and welcoming. We loved the rich breakfast. There is a parking lot for guests (which is a little bit hidden, when you arrive from the street). This place is good for a rip with a car, visitng that region and the Maggia valley.
