The breakfasts are plentiful, tasty and generous, and the smell of traditional Albanian donuts is pleasant in the morning. The view from the balcony is magnificent, offering a beautiful perspective on the mountains and the city’s castle. I highly recommend this charming place, managed by great people!

City Street Hotel ligt in Gjirokastër, op 43 km van Zaravina-meer, en biedt accommodatie met een restaurant, gratis privéparkeren en een bar. It’s a new hotel decorated as the old houses you find in Gjirokaster, so it’s very pleasant. The beds were very much to our taste, you didn’t sink in. Everything was clean and the location was so convenient, because you can access the Old Town right away taking in the main street by car (or walk uphill in the cobble stones street if you like). Breakfast was varied, continental and abundant.

Bujtina ANLU is gelegen in Gjirokastër, op 35 km van Zaravina-meer, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren en een bar. If you want to visit Heaven on Earth before you die, you should definitely stay in Bujtina Anlu for at least three nights. This place is amazing and the host family are the sweetest and friendliest people I’ve ever met! I will never forget the day I arrived and I got to my apartment. The view from the apartments is, the least to say, breath taking. Everything clean, the bed mattress and pillow will make you feel better than your own home bed. The host lady is a Master Chef. She will cook you the best dishes from the Albanian cuisine. I can keep writing here for ages. The guesthouse provides perfect parking, so your vehicle or motorcycle will be in a safe spot. Also, if you’re a motorcyclist(s) and looking for a quick recharge on your adventure, this is the perfect place for that. 

This place has become my favourite one, and I will be a regular guest from now on.

White Villa bevindt zich in Përmet, op 47 km van Klooster van Agios Georgios Riachovou, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren en een bar. The room was perfect, brand new, clean, the bed, sheets and pillows were amazing. There was a shop in the same building, which was very convenient. The owner was so friendly and he let us stay until 11 am even though the check out time is at 10 am.

Isaraj Guest House bevindt zich in Gjirokastër, op 43 km van Zaravina-meer, en biedt accommodatie met gratis WiFi, airconditioning en toegang tot een tuin met een terras. Zeer vriendelijk personeel, nette kamer en heerlijk ontbijt. Alles was tot in de puntjes geregeld. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar!

Wonderful hosts Lola and Ilir welcomed me like I am a part of their family. The place is very clean and comfortable, amazing food and hospitality. I enjoyed my stay a lot. I came by bus. The place is not in the centre of Tepelene - without a car I couldn't get to Tepelene - the host Ilir brought me there.

Hotel Uji Ftohte Tepelene heeft een fitnesscentrum, een terras, een restaurant en een bar in Tepelenë. Dit hotel met 4 sterren biedt roomservice, een 24-uursreceptie en gratis WiFi. Really a great hotel! It is extremely modern, everything is very clean and stylishly furnished in a minimalist style. The view in the restaurant (where you also have breakfast) of the valley with the river is simply breathtaking, I enjoyed the view every time I sat there! We had the second cheapest room category but were still absolutely satisfied, I especially liked the bathroom with the rain shower. Beds also very comfortable and big! The restaurant (where you can also eat as a non-hotel guest) is also very good, I found especially the fries delicious, they were more like potato wedges and totally crispy and well seasoned! The best thing is of course the access to the river from the hotel: The water is so clear and totally pleasant (we were there in mid-June, when it was the perfect temperature), there are small rocks you can jump from and lots of sun loungers with parasols I would come here again at any time and next time I would plan a few more days!

It's very cute and clean room..and location is wonderful walkable to the stunning old bazaar and cold war museum the property owners were very kind and welcoming over all we loved that place so much

Chri Chri Guesthouse is gelegen in Përmet en heeft een tuin, een gedeelde lounge, een terras, en gratis WiFi. Best place we stayed on our trip in Albania! Gilberto (the host) is very hospitable and makes sure that everyone is having a good time. The accomodation was super clean, with a nice interior look (grey stone walls and wooden floorboards). It was possible to pay for dinner at the property, which was delicious (local cuisine with nearby ingredients).
