The „ecohouse“ is a special and hidden treasure on the wonderful compound, very close to the beach in kizimkazi. The lovely style of the old materials in a fresh renovated condition was exactly our taste. Simplicity on its best. Selma is a worm host and the breakfast is close to a garden ceremony with good fruits and enough to eat. The village itself seemed to us peaceful. Tourists are not yet overehelming the traditional lifestyle. The fishermen and the beaching till sunset go well along. We regretted that we couldn’t stay longer.

The resort is a wonderful big open space with a lot of areas to chill and relax. Excellent food and lovely staff. Gemma the owner is very nice and always there if you need her. We stayed in the sunset suite which was absolutely amazing as we slept in the open under a mosquito net. The people of the adjacent village are very friendly and the sunsets are beautiful. We had a wonderful time at Karamba. Thank you for a fantastic time! Asante sana!

The design of the building amongst the trees has the feeling of being deep in the forest. The room was big and the staff were lovely. Fabulous location for the beach. The dog is so friendly. Great breakfast!

It’s the best hostel in Zanzibar, and I stayed in 4 different ones during my stay. The lounge area is unbelievable, I was truly enjoying it every single day. People working there are very friendly, accommodating, welcoming, and treat you like a friend, not just a guest. I met great people there and we spent whole time together going on different tours and exploring the area together. I wasn’t bothered by local people at all, felt very relaxed and at peace. Just 10/10 experience, nothing else

This place is amazing. A gorgeous setting next to the beach. The room is very spacious and clean (with daily cleaning). The included breakfast was delicious and the lunch and dinner options in the restaurant were great too. Last but not least: all the staff is super friendly and helpful. Wonderful Vacation Days in a Great Accommodation I had the pleasure of spending a fantastic vacation here. The accommodation was not only beautifully located but also very clean. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful – I felt welcome from the very beginning. Whenever I had questions, both the owner and the staff were always there to assist me. The location was simply perfect! There were many restaurants and bars nearby, and the hotel is right by the sea – ideal for daily swimming and relaxing. The food was another highlight: freshly prepared every day and absolutely delicious. What I especially loved is that this accommodation is perfect for everyone – whether you’re traveling as a family, solo, or with friends, you’ll feel right at home. The rooms are also aesthetically designed and very cozy. Another great aspect was the help with planning daily excursions. The host assisted me in organizing my day, and everything was arranged professionally and smoothly. I felt completely comfortable and can highly recommend this accommodation!

The accommodation is very stylish and has a great atmosphere. We also appreciated the constant presence of the security guard at the entrance. There is a spacious and clean swimming pool on site, the sea is a pleasant 10-minute walk away. An ideal place for a longer relaxing stay. Very pleasant and helpful staff, the owner is also on site and it is clear that he takes good care of the area. We appreciated the wide range of vegetarian dishes. Especially when compared to other accommodation in Zanzibar, this offer was certainly the widest.
