When I arrived, I was greeted by the owner who walked me through the check in process. She also set me up with a much larger room in a quieter building, because there was a large wedding party staying at the hostel. The rooms were comfortable and the common areas were kept very clean. I also took advantage of the free breakfast and cheap bike rental (150SEK a day). The location is also perfect--it was a 7 minute bike ride to the ferry so that I could explore Faro all day.

This design hotel is a former fortress and lies by the Baltic Coast, just outside the town of Fårösund and 2 km from the ferry terminal to Fårö island.

Nice, peaceful place near the sea and nature. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast good and dinner tasty :) We rented bikes, it was good way to explore the area.

Staff was extremely welcoming and friendly! The accommodation is very simple and no-frills. Shared kitchen has a refrigerator, freezer, utensils, stoves and a microwave. The area is very quiet and peaceful. I liked the room, and the fact that the premises used to be a school so there are locker rooms and a gym hall.

Loved our stay at the Three Pheasants, Jerry and Josefina are great hosts and the place has a lovely homely feel, and gorgeous wild garden (complete with hedgehogs in the evening!) Breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed borrowing the bikes to explore the area.

Brissundsbyn is situated in Visby, 3.2 km from Lummelunda Cave, 6.3 km from Lugnet Golf Course, as well as 7.4 km from Gotska Golf Club.

We loved staying in Brissundsbyn! Although the cottage was as described it still managed to exceed our expectations. The bathroom and the kitchen were both clean and well equipped. The beds and bedding were all comfortable. The location was very practical since we were traveling by car. The hosts were very helpful and friendly.

Lickershamns Semesterby is located 500 metres from the beach. Visby is 30 km away. Electric cookers, microwaves and dining tables are standard in Lickershamns Semesterby’s cottages.
