Everything was amazing, the place is super cozy, the host is super attentive, he helped us with many extra things and offered us dinner, the neighborhood is very friendly and kind, the host and his helper were always very polite and respectful in every way, the Internet of great quality, the breakfast super healthy and delicious, we were super happy in this place

Amazing location on a old Bethlehem street and an easy walk to the Manger Square. Michel and Fuad, the father and son hosts, are both extremely helpful. We only met Michel in person and he was delightful whilst Fuad answered messages quickly and helpfully. This is a traditional apartment with two large rooms with a separate kitchen and bathroom. There is a large veranda which is a wonderful addition and has a great view of Bethlehem. As a traditional house it does not have air conditioning but has high ceilings and is compensated by the historical features (and one room has a fan). We would happily stay there again and highly recommend it.

This property has been the best one I have stayed during my 18 day trip through Israel, Palestina and Jordan. It is an amazing house, with all essential items included. it was incredibly comfortable and the staff was tremendously nice, kind and supportive. Indeed, Ahmed, the owner is a great, he has shown us all important places around Jerico, explaining the repsective history and giving us very important and essential information about the local culture al famous places to visit. He has become a close friend that we will always keep in our heart. Thanks Ahmed my friend!!!

Lovely, authentic accommodation in a peaceful location surrounded by lemon trees. Huge double room with en-suite. Bed very comfortable & perfectly clean. There is a very large kitchen/ sitting room area with Tv & washing machine next door. As a solo traveller I felt very safe there. Exceptional host Soad goes out of her way to make sure you have everything you need.

This was my second stay at the hostel as it was one of the cheapest places to stay in Bethlehem for Christmas, and is located right near where the Christmas Eve parade starts. The host provided a traditional home-cooked Christmas Eve meal for a reasonable price.

Samis hostel is in the most perfect and central location in a very well known Palestinian neighbourhood called Aqbat Jabr. There is a warm and friendly Palestinian community outside the hostel with shops and a restaurant. Buses run frequently from outside the hostel to the city centre of Jericho. Sami is a friendly host and the hostel offers a comfortable lounge area. The room was clean, the bed comfortable with air con. If you are looking for a stay in an authentic building, this is the place for you. The room I stayed in was like a mini hobbit room. The ceiling is very low, so if you are tall, you will have to watch your head, if you stay in this specific room. It was nice and cosy. There is a TV with some great arab channels that will show you the beauty of the land and culture, also insight into what is and has been happening in Palastine. The location was great. It was right next to the mosque of Omar and the church of nativity. It can be a little noisy outside until around 12-1am but I had some ear plugs and slept well. The beds were comfortable, and there is a heater you can use if you get cold. The host was amazing. You can get his WhatsApp number, and he will come to you if there are any issues or if you need any help. I will definitely come back here. The locals are all so helpful and friendly and will make you feel welcome. There is street food around the corner, I paid 15 ILS (apox 4.50) for falafel and fresh orange juice. Saamii, the local tea man, has all kinds of fresh herbs and Arabic coffee he will receive whatever money you can give him but 4 to 5 ILS is good ✨️ Restaurants may be more expensive. TRAVEL: From Jerusalem to Bethlehem, you can get bus number 231 opposite Damascus gate. It costs 5.50 ILS (£1.50) for a single trip. You get off at the last stop. This bus will take you straight into Bethlehem, not to Racheal's Tomb. When you get there, you can walk 25 minutes to the hostel, or you can get a taxi close to the hostel but only pay 20 ILS (£5) and no more. On the way back, it is the same bus stop to get back into Jerusalem, and you will stop at a checkpoint on the way back, so make sure you have your blue tourist card and passport ready. Highly recommend experience ✨️

I was extremely impressed with the welcoming atmosphere that I received from Mr Solomon and his entire family 👪 I was assisted with all requests for information about planning a visit to Holy sites and charged a fair rate. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Plaza Apartments for its comfortable and spacious rooms, and most of all its cleanliness. The food was absolutely 💯 percent exemplary, beautiful fresh vegetables from Mr Solomon's greenhouse and an invitation from Mr Solomon to tour his wonderful verity of fresh vegetables in the greenhouse. I can only say that I most definitely would recommend The Plaza Apartments Bethlehem for anyone interested in the Holiday of a Lifetime. God bless 🙏 you Mr Solomon and all your family 👪 amen 🙏
