We really enjoyed our stay. The room was lovely, the place was friendly and we had a great time. Great communication between Sam’s place and us before we travelled ensuring all our needs were met when we arrived. Really enjoyed our stay at thomasha’s homestay, very reasonably priced accommodation which was perfect for our stop over. The owner was really helpful and brought us to Ellawela and diyaluma waterfalls which we highly recommend to anyone staying here in the future.

On arrival we were served fresh juice and met with a really friendly owner. He is a guide to the waterfall, but we wanted to hike alone, so he gave us useful information regarding the parking and path. The parking for our tuk tuk was provided. The cottage is really cute with a great balcony, which has a view on the waterfall. The location was really useful, the bottom of the waterfall is just a few minutes walk away. The room was very nice, comfortable and clean, there is a fan. The best part was the food, both dinner and breakfast were tasty and plentiful. For dinner we ate the best rice and curry we've had in Srilanka. For breakfast we got tea/coffe, juice, toast, butter and jam, lots of fruit, coconut pancakes and noodles.

We can highly recommend staying at Hunama Heights in Koslanda. The accommodation is very clean and offers breathtaking views. From here, we had the chance to observe many monkeys and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The owner took us to the Diyaluma Falls and spent half the day with us there. Thanks to him, we discovered some amazing spots and felt completely safe throughout. The food on-site was also very diverse and delicious. The hosts are incredibly warm and welcoming, and we felt right at home. I will definitely come back again!
