Best place in Sri Lanka! I'm usually too lazy to write reviews, but this one is truly worth it. We found ourselves in the middle of a jungle. Everything was meticulously maintained and clean. At the end of the trail was our room. The pool was beautiful, and the decor was tastefully done. The private beach is just a stone's throw away. I don't know what else to say. The staff was incredibly kind, and we're leaving with regret for not having stayed more nights. Highly recommended!

After 10 days backpacking around Sri Lanka, Maritime Nest was the perfect place to relax for a few quiet days. The cabanas are newly built, well equipped and very clean and comfortable. The gardens and pool are delightful and the food at Panchi restaurant is excellent. The breakfasts, in particular, are delicious and plentiful. Most importantly we were made to feel very welcome and were looked after extremely well. Madura, his family and great team of staff were fabulous hosts. Madura made helpful suggestions for local sights and activities and was always responsive to our queries. We particularly enjoyed visiting the local Turtle Sanctuary, a mindful and ethical way to experience these amazing creatures. The beautiful almost deserted beach can be reached via a short track and, whilst the sea is too rough for swimming, there is a delightful rock pool nearby. Very highly recommended. Thank you to Madura and his team of staff - we wish you every success with your new business.

Super nice apartment/villa that I really recommend to anyone planning to stay at Tangalle. Extraordinary service provided by owners was top of our visit in Sri Lanka. I also liked the location not too far from Silent or Gyokomba beaches. The ability to jump into the very nice pool was cherry on top of the cake.

This was the most beautiful place we stayed in our whole vacation in Sri Lanka. The room and bathroom were very big and clean and just perfect, the pool is an amazing assat also. But the most important thing is that the hosts, Gintare and Chami, were extremly frendly and helpful. They fulfilled our every wish. The food they prepared for us was also the best we ever had. We can not recommend this place enough!

We had a fantastic stay at this family-run hotel! The location is great—very close to the beach and within walking distance of Turtle Beach, where we had the unforgettable experience of watching giant green turtles lay eggs. The hotel is spotless, and both breakfast and dinner were exceptional, offering a mix of authentic Sri Lankan dishes and classic Western options. Perfect spot wish a wonderful location right in front of the beach and the lagune. Our room at the middle level in the main building had a great view and a cool breeze. There were kayaks (sit-on-top) to use in the lagune for free. At sunset you could see (a few hundred meters east) the tiny baby turtles being releasef from their nests and strugling to reach the sea. The staff were pleasent and very friendly.
