Our stay at Drexel House was superb. My mother and I stayed there for two nights after our safari at Masai Mara and all I can say is that it was a fantastic experience. The House is beauthifull!! The rooms, the garden all the common areas... Everything is lovely. If you are looking for a different place to relax, to connect with nature and to enjoy a pleasent conversation with the staff, this is your place. We specially appreciated having breakfast or in the garden, the swimming pool area, enjoyed the different lounges and relaxed in our nice room. We also enjoyed fantastic dinners in the place. Regarding location, it is very convinient to visit all the ammenities in Karen District: The Gireafe Centre, Karen Blixen Museum, Shopping centers or aricrafts shops, the Nairobi National Park... They can arrange you transport in the reception. All the staff is really lovely. They are very friendly people that make you feel like at home. In conclussion, if you would like to enjoy a boutique hotel away from the bussy city center, this is a place to go. I will always remember it as a wonderful experience. It is one of the best hotels where I have ever stayed.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Karen Plains Hotel! From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warm smiles and exceptional service. The staff were amazing. The rooms were massive and well-appointed. The outside looked a bit tired but the whole place worked superbly well and was of a good standard for well-priced accommodation. The kitchen staff came in early to cook us breakfast before our shuttle trip to Tanzania. The guards were super friendly and helpful, as were the office staff. The pool was excellent. This stay exceeded our expectations.
