As we had done our homework about the location this hotel was everything we expected and didn't disappoint. As it has only been open a few months the room was very clean and fresh and of ample size. There was a nice choice of breakfasts and dinner items and a well stocked bar. We loved listening to the waves and wildlife noises and not much else to disturb the tranquility of being in the forest/beach location. Also very close was a good beach bar for a change of food and scenery.

Everything! The decor, the staff, the atmosphere, the situation, the facilities and the hotel dog 😎. The owner of the hotel even arranged a tv screen for us to watch the Six Nations Rugby so what an incredible place to sit and watch the game looking out onto paradise. Special mentions to Benny and Bekar who made our stay wonderful. Always smiling and making sure we had everything we needed. I read before I booked here that some of the service was not good. I found the complete opposite. It was the perfect balance of attention and delivery. We had one of the sea view rooms where we listened to the sea and watched the surfers morning to night. If you are looking for a quiet room where you cant' hear the roar of the sea I'd book one of the garden rooms.

Hidden gem - one of the best experiences, because it really lets you stay in the modern art bungalows, resembling the 60s style, or of course Hobbits houses. The idea of bungalows is brilliant, the location is relaxing and in the middle of the forest, everything is very well maintained. Everybody enjoyed to chill out there in the common area, because of its unique peaceful ambiance, you simply don’t want to leave it. The bikes provided for free were also very entertaining.

Nice room, comfortable double bed and well-made bathroom with good water pressure. All clean and modern. Free water and coffee for guests. You can swim in the sea from their dock - very convenient as there are no good beaches in walking distance. The dock is beautiful just to sit at, too. Super friendly stuff. Pricey, yet good restaurant right at the sea. Happy hour cocktails. 10-min walk from boats and water taxis dock. Cute little town - restaurants, street food, supermarkets - all convenient.

We had an amazing stay at Oasis Bluff Beach! The service provided by Alex and Choy was absolutely impeccable. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed in the most incredible and personalized way, with a special touch: our names were displayed on a welcome sign—a thoughtful detail that made all the difference. The food was absolutely delicious, and every meal was a true delight. We stayed in a room with a jungle view, and hearing the soothing sounds of the animals was a unique and relaxing experience. The service was flawless, whether at the tables, on the beach, or by the pool. Everything was designed to make us feel pampered at all times. I highly recommend this hotel without any hesitation, and we will definitely be returning!

Santuarios del Mar bevindt zich in Bocas del Toro, op een paar minuten lopen van Playa Istmito en minder dan 1 km van Playa La Griega. Absolutely loved the stay and the staff is super helpful as well, cannot recommend it enough and will definitely be booking it again whenever I return to bocas!!!

Mosana Reef Garden B&B ligt in Bluff Beach, op 5 km van de stad Bocas en op 26 km van Buena Vista. Voor een drankje kunt u terecht in de eigen bar. Right on the sea, you go to sleep to the noise of the surf. Nadia and Salvatore are great hosts. Food is excellent. There are not many places to stay directly on the sea but this is one of them. Don't miss out.

The rustic and ecological Tesoro Escondido Ecolodge Cabinas offers accommodation in Bluff Beach. Located in a secluded area of Colon. Bocas Town is 5 km from the property. Free Wi-Fi is available. Prachtige locatie! Super vriendelijke eigenaars. Je voelt je meteen heel welkom! De plek straalt rust uit…. Een privé strand met super gave golven maar wel sterke stroming dus oppassen. Veel lieve dieren te spotten vanaf het terras. Waaronder Rio onze favoriete wilde toekan die bijna elke dag langs komt 🥰 Wel ver van alles afgelegen maar dit weet je van tevoren. Koelkast en keukentje ter beschikking en ontbijt is heerlijk!

Tropical Suites Hotel is een boetiekhotel dat aan de oceaan ligt, in het hart van Bocas del Toro in Panama. Our room was excellent. Large, comfortable, even equipped with a kitchen and utensils. It had a nice view of the city. We had no problems with noise, even though we were pretty much in the city center. Everything is a quick walk away, and there are multiple boat terminals nearby. This is pretty much the only place with a pool, so it has a bit advantage there. In other places we've stayed at we don't have much to do if there are a couple hours to space, but here we can go chill near the pool, recharge, or have a drink or snack. The food in the restaurant is truly excellent. Even the included breakfast is really exceptional. The service is good, and even if this is one of the pricier places around, it's still cheap and an amazing value.
