Staff and food were beyond fabulous. Tents were pretty hot as there isn’t AC and it was toasty (high 30s/low 40s) when we were there. Fans are provided in the room though. The elephant drive was fun but we only found one lone bull. The little pool was amazing for hours on the hot afternoon after the drive.

The guides for our drives were knowledgeable and passionate, making every excursion a special experience. We felt very welcome and comfortable throughout our stay – it really felt like being at home. At this incredible camp, we stayed in the basic rooms, platform tent with bathrooms attached and enjoyed the pool and the sundowner views before a wonderful dinner in the open air dining room. The staff is top-notch. They prepared a little cake and sang happy birthday for our daughter’s birthday.

The campground has 1 bedroom and 2 bathrooms with a shower. This was our favourite campsite during our 2-week roadtrip in Namibia. The location is very peaceful and safe. The space is huge, a large private plot with a bathroom, a toilette, an outdoor dishwashing area and a BBQ area. Everything was crystal clear, spacious, cozy, therevwasbhot water every time. We could buy delicious meat from the owners and grilled it on the fire - it was great :) The son of the owner was super kind and helpful. I fully recommend this campsite, especially for those on a roadtrip with a tented car. This clean and peaceful location was such a relief after the other crowded campsites.

We loved how polite, professional and kind all of the staff were.. They really made you feel special and attended to your needs. The nature drive with Siggi was a highlight, we got to see the group of Desert Elephants.

Each bungalow at the Huab Lodge features a private veranda overlooking the area and hills. They all have a private bathroom with twin basins and views from the shower. All of them have thatched roofs and typical African decoration. We stayed in a lot of great places in Namibia, but this was our absolute favourite. Beautiful accommodation, stunning setting, warm and friendly service. We loved the rooms with the huge balcony, and the large communal dining/bar area. All guests (and the owners) sit together at one large sociable dinner table, the food is excellent. We also did the Desert Elephant Tour with Deon - this was a real highlight of our trip. We were lucky to find the elephants, but even if we hadn't it would have been worthwhile for the beautiful journey along the ephemeral river beds (and the lunch!). This place is very special and we will come back one day.
