Our experience in the lodge was great: 1. The Camp was very close to the Talek gate to Masai Mara Park - 1 minute walk :) 2. A camp itself was very comfortable - spacious, nIce furniture, good washroom; NO problems with hot water or electricity. Very pleasant soap/shampoo. We even had bathrobes :) it was a bit cold in the camp in the evening, but we had a nice warm blanket. 3. The food was delicious. My wife's limitations (no red meet) were satisfied completely. Most importantly, the staff in the ladge was extremely helpful. Our flight had been delayed, and we arrived to the lodge after 11 pm. We'd informed the manager and he organized a hot dinner for us no matter it was late.

The property is in a beautiful location surrounded by lush greenery. The mornings and nights are particularly enchanting, with the sounds of animals and occasional sightings, adding a touch of wilderness to the experience. Its proximity to the Maasai Mara National Reserve, just a 3-minute drive, was incredibly convenient. Additionally, Mr. Magdy was exceptionally helpful in arranging transportation, making everything seamless. The food was absolutely delicious, and I must commend the chefs for their amazing culinary skills. As a chai lover, I couldn’t resist asking for more along with Banana Fritters 😌😌😌. A special shoutout to Mr. Ben, the night guard, whose presence felt safe and well taken care throughout my stay.

Talek Bush Camp, Masai Mara ligt in Talek en biedt gratis WiFi, een tuin, een gedeelde lounge en een terras. Elke unit heeft een eigen badkamer met douche en gratis toiletartikelen, en ook slippers. Mooie ruime tent. Alles heel schoon. Eten was voortreffelijk en zeer vriendelijk personeel.

Het Mara biedt uitzicht op de rivier de Talek en beschikt over elegant ingerichte tenten op verhoogde platforms en een terras met een bar voor het spotten van dieren. Bijzonder mooie kamp in Brits-koloniale stijl, gelegen naast air strip (geen last van), topservice, deels vernieuwd na overstroming april 2023, prima uitvalsbasis om de Mara te verkennen.

Mara Hilltop heeft een buitenzwembad, een tuin, een terras en een bar in Sekenani. Er is gratis privéparkeren en de accommodatie biedt betaalde shuttleservice naar deze luchthaven. We had an amazing stay at Mara Hilltop – truly one of the best experiences we’ve ever had! The view was breathtaking, and the tent was very clean, comfortable, and beautifully set up. Special thanks to Chef Allan for the delicious meals, and to Lucia and Steve who were always so helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. Our game drives were unforgettable with Ken, an excellent driver who made sure we saw the Big 5! In Nairobi, John was also a great driver who took care of us very well. One of the highlights of our trip was the nature walk with Dickson – he was such a knowledgeable and engaging guide, making it an incredible experience. A huge thank you to NJ, a very patient owner who always responded to all my queries, and to Nick, who went above and beyond to ensure our safety and comfort, even checking in with us on our way home. Everything was so wonderful that we ended up extending our stay. We highly recommend Mara Hilltop Camp to anyone visiting the Masai Mara – you will not be disappointed!

Kobe Mara bevindt zich in Talek en biedt gratis WiFi en een tuin met een terras en uitzicht op de tuin. Sommige units hebben ook een keuken met een oven. We had an absolutely beautiful week at Kobe Mara, in the Masai Mara Conservancy. We stayed in one of their four tents and had the most incredible wildlife roaming in front of our tent or at the water in front of the main house every single day. Sammy, his right hand Jonathan and their team carried us on their hands and made sure our every need was met with a huge smile. We went on games drives in the Masai Mara with rangers Moses & Alex. Their passion for nature and their culture was tangible in the experience and the knowledge they shared priceless. The chef Julius did wonders in the kitchen & the team even surprised us with a cake and little celebration on our final evening. The experiences we have had in the last week is something we will cherish forever. We cannot wait for our next visit.
