Large rooms, super clean, modern. Needed space to stage my new ski touring setup. Picked this place because the rooms are bigger than other comparables in Aviemore. It was all true! Lots of space to spread out and arrange my gear. Bathroom faucets / sink is deep so could easily accommodate a Nalgene (really annoying when places have cheap setups so you have to fill your water bottle with the cap) Lots of plugs to charge stuff where you need it. 2 x large coffee mugs (can accommodate cereal :) 2 x whisky tumblers 2 x drinking glasses 1 x small fridge with a mini freezer that works (for a mini freezer) Super clean. Very centrally located.

Glenlivet by Wigwam Holidays bevindt zich in Tomintoul in de regio Grampian en biedt accommodatie met gratis privéparkeren. Er is een volledig uitgeruste kitchenette en een eigen badkamer. I'm generally not a person that stays in small huts like this, but I was positively surprised by this one. It isn't the most spaceous, but it was great for the two days we stayed there, and if you're a more wilderness/camping kind of person, I definitely recommend it. The surroundings were lovely woods with some nice walking paths, that especially at night provided some great opportunities for star watching, and the hut itself has a nice little kitchen with everything you need (except maybe an oven, but if you do it right, you can definitely do without that), and a nice and clean shower, the beds were also very comfortable. Every hut also has a fire place outside, and the owners provide firewood upon request, if there is no fire ban at the moment, which can happen if it becomes too dry. I can definitely recommend this if you are looking fora little bit more adventurous stay!

Ailsa- Enchanting Tiny House with wood burner and hot tub in Cairngorms heeft een tuin en een terras, en biedt accommodatie in Ballater met gratis WiFi en uitzicht op de bergen. House was extraordinarily cute with an amazing view. All the info was very easily laid out and the house was super clean. The wood stove was all set up for us upon arrival and worked very well. Hot tub was incredible after a long day of hiking in the Cairmgorns and was very easy to use singlehandedly. Kitchen was well stocked.

Craggan is not like other B&B's, or any other accommodations for that matter. Martyn and Louise are the most relaxed and warmest of hosts, yet they work so hard to deliver for their guests. They have created a beautiful, luxurious, and unique property that delivers a very personal experience. My partner and I stayed in the Balmain Room. Every detail had been thought of; two pieces of lemon drizzle cake in the room as a welcome was a lovely touch. The room is beauitfully appointed, very spacious with views on the beautiful grounds that surround the house, and it's own separate entrance (only the Balmain room has this I think) The bed is huge and super comfortable, we slept so well. The bathroom is also spacious and luxurious. Breakfast is made to order each morning, in addition to a breakfast buffet that you can help yourself to. Louise bakes all the cakes herself and they are superb. This is a stay I will always remember.

Alba - Charming boutique forest view cabin with hot tub in Ballater heeft een tuin en een terras, en biedt accommodatie in Ballater met gratis WiFi en uitzicht op de tuin. Lovely quite getaway location. Very responsive via booking.com messages. Beautiful cabin with everything you need for a quick getaway. Nice touch with the bottle of red wine and the guest information booklet, made me feel well looked after by the hosts.

Ptarmigan ligt in Nethy Bridge in de regio Schotse Hooglanden, dicht bij Abernethy Golf Club. De accommodatie biedt gratis privéparkeren. We had a lovely stay. The owners were so friendly and the cabin was amazing, it provided everything that you need. We also got a little welcome basket to get us started for the first day. Would definitely come back here.😊
