The Nook was a beautiful, cozy place to stay in a charming neighborhood just blocks from Galena's downtown area where we visited shops and picked up food after our long drive. I would book the Nook again in a heartbeat and will be looking at their other properties as potential rentals for future trips. Loved the Nook!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an amazing experience renting The Golf View for 5 days between Christmas and New Year. My host, Phil, was utterly accommodating and available at all times, making the stay even more enjoyable. His place was pet-friendly, which was ideal for me and my poodle, Lolo. Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised to find a dog bed, treats, and a plate for his water and food waiting for us. The house itself was sleek and stylish yet super cozy, equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay: a fireplace, a gorgeous reading nook in the mezzanine, an extremely comfortable king-size bed and access to Internet service as well as Netflix and other platforms. In other words, The Golf View was the perfect space for my much-needed winter break. As for the location, it was beautiful; the townhouse was surrounded by lush green golf courses, which provided a quiet and private atmosphere. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience from beginning to end, and I can't wait to repeat it in the summer! Silvana del Val December 2024

Teresa at the front desk/bar was WONDERFUL! She was fun, professional, and attentive to any need. The hotel is in close proximity to downtown, but out of the hustle and bustle. (Galena has a "taxi" service for $5/person if you'd prefer so there's no bothering with parking downtown.) We loved that there is a bar at the hotel, and the breakfast was great. The room/lobby was comfy - and snacks were available for purchase - always a plus!! :) A great stay! We will be back!

We spent a lot of time in the pool and that was nice and clean. The room was clean and we had a convenient room for the pool and the parking lot. I would stay there again.

Nice historical building and good location within walking distance of downtown Galena. The stairs to the room were treacherous, especially with morning frost on them. The parking lot was pretty small. Overall, compared to other hotel pricing it was a good value. We'd stay there again
