My first instinct walking into the hotel was "can I extend my stay??". Everything about the place surpassed my expectations - the decor, the cleanliness, the service and friendliness of every member of staff, the quality of services at the spa and the facilities, the view from the room and omg THE FOOD! Absolutely delicious! All the veggies and herbs used are harvested from the hotel garden, and all the seafood is caught fresh - you can definitely taste this! I could go on and on about how wonderful the stay was but I'll end my review with this: if you need a home away from home in Ericeira don't even hesitate in booking at Immerso trust me you wont regret it. I can't wait to visit again.

I had the most wonderful stay at Swellnest Retreat in Ericeira with my son, Lyle, to celebrate his 21st birthday – and it couldn’t have been more perfect. From the moment we arrived, the warmth and hospitality made us feel right at home. Huge thanks to Nikki on reception for her kindness, and to Ainoa and Tas for delicious breakfasts (thx for the boiled eggs!) and their fun, uplifting energy. Bernardo kept the plunge pool in top shape – our favourite daily spot – while Frederick (the undercover boss) brought laughs and stories, even the painful 28-3! Surfing with Steve at Magikvanilla, organised by Swellnest, was a highlight. His coaching (alongside Vicki and Yvette) gave us confidence, and Lyle progressed from a soft to a hard board by week’s end. Ericeira itself is fantastic – a surf town buzzing with music, events, and a relaxed, welcoming vibe. Great seafood, lively pubs, and a friendly mix of locals and visitors make it really special. If you’ve never been, fly into Lisbon, spend a day exploring, then head northwest – you’ll be glad you did. Swellnest, the people, and the atmosphere created an unforgettable birthday trip. I can’t recommend it highly enough – we’ll definitely be back. 🌊

Beautifully decorated house and Elizabeth was super attentive and friendly host. Communication was great and so was the service whenever we needed something. House was absolutely beautiful and had lot of space and privacy for four adults. Amenities were spot and very well equipped kitchen. Outside area was beautiful and had everything we needed.
