This is a new homestay run by Dilnur and her beautiful family and I couldn’t recommend them enough. They were incredibly welcoming! The room was comfortable and cool in the summer, the bathroom exceptionally clean. When we arrived Dilnur prepared beautiful tea with fruit and biscuits for me in the garden. The breakfast was genuinely the best I’ve had in a month in Kyrgyzstan. For dinner Dilnur took me to her father’s house Hyat (who runs the CBT in Arslanbob, so Dilnur can organise any activities you might want easily) to teach me how to make plov with her children and sister in law. Dilnur’s husband even accompanied us to the bazar to help us buy some auto parts for our car. It was a lovely couple of days, I wish I could have stayed longer.

Umid the owner of this guesthouse is very helpful and friendly. The rooms range from very good to excellent for a guesthouse. The guesthouse is rarely fully booked so you can have your pick of a room. They are carpeted and spotlessly clean. The dining area overlooks the garden. There is a modern bathroom with hot water.  The outstanding feature of this guesthouse is the meals. They are exceptional, especially the dinners. It is delicious and you are given more than you can possibly eat. In the garden there are really cute ducks. The walnut forest can be accessed from trails a short distance away. Go very early in the morning and you will have it all to yourself.

What a great place and what a charming and kind family! We had a good time, enjoying good food, chats with family members (one daughter speaks a bit of English, and google translate helped also) our own bathroom and a good location, about 10-15 min walk from the village center and the market. We can certainly recommend Modern Homestay when you are in Arslanbob. Just perfect!

The family was very helpful. Helps us arranged transport to visit walnut forest, waterfalls and also to Uzbek border. They allow us to use their kitchen to cook our own dish. Also, act promptly if there is any request from us.
