Hotels with Parking in Kálfafell

Located in the heart of remote location; a good place to stop so you don't have to backtrack to see sights in the South. Huge parking lot so you will find a spot even if arriving late at night. Efficient check in. Comfortable room, even though I couldn't discern any difference in the standard vs premium room. (The premium room in 2024 seemed pretty much identical as my first stay in 2019 in a standard room....except 70Euro price difference.)

I like the property that it was on a sheep farm. You could see all the pretty sheep. Parking was easy.

Location - free parking and close to the Vatnajökull National Park.

Great location on the Ring Road between Vik and Glacier Lagoon, with spectacular drives in between. Friendly and efficient communication and a well-equipped cabin with parking right beside the door. A cosy evening cooking, good sleep and beautiful sunrise view.

The hotel location was excellent for exploring the area. They provided a good breakfast. Room views were not great as hotel overlooked garage and parking lot by necessity, but some rooms did provide better views of the crater landscape. I had requested top floor, but was on the 2nd floor and suspect the higher up the better view. The hotel has 3 floors. Other than floor allocation, the hotel staff were excellent and appreciated the Northern Lights wakeup call.

Very clean, well equipped kitchen, coffee, and tea at your disposal, free parking.
