The view is amazing, the hospitality of Mr. Ika is outstanding, the reception was perfect, the food is very delicious, the hut is very beautiful, well maintained and fully equipped, it is very cozy and romantic. The location was amazing right at the top of the village. The family run the guesthouse are so welcoming. The food was fabulous and lots of it! Very good value, comfortable rooms with great views and a balcony.

Beautiful and smiling hostess, good location, cleanliness, extraordinary bed. Delicious and nutritious dinner.The family has horses and we planned a trip to Shkhari which was out of the ordinary. I will return to the old tower. I recommend it.

The food food was delicious, fresh and more various then in different guesthouses, we tasted the tarragon speciality. The family was kind and welcoming, we asked the desire of horse ride to the glacier and they organised it for us in perfect conditions.

What a fantastic location!!! It is like being in a paradise! The view from the window is on the glacier, you fall asleep to the sunset over the glacier. You can walk to the glacier from the cabin as the trail starts there. The cabin is bigger than all others that we stayed in- it has two bedrooms and a living room with a sofa and armchairs. The owner is very responsive and helpful. It was the best place, in the best location that we stayed in Georgia. The photo shows a view from the window- just wow!
