Very attentive and kind owner of the house. He even made sure that the house was warmed up and the lights were on by our arrival, since it was pouring rain at that evening. House is in a very quiet place overlooking the lake. The beauty of Scotland's nature is indescribable, once in this house you are right in the middle of it. Comfortable beds. No signs of dampness. Very friendly and helpful staff! We arrived after a very long drive and they straight away got us a table for dinner in the pub despite it being really busy. The room was lovely and clean and the bed was so comfortable. We were staying for a wedding at Dornie Castle so the location for us was perfect. It’s situated in such a lovely setting with stunning views all around. We will 100% be coming back to stay here again!

Absolutely perfect oasis to stay when visiting Isle of Skye, you have all the benefits of the area without the hustle and bustle with the cottage located in an oasis of its own. The ferry from Glenelg across to Isle of Skye was a majory highlight for out day visit, and we loved our dinner at the local Glenelg Pub. Only downside if wish we had more time to relax and unwind in the surrounding Glenelg area; the views and roads were so quiet and stunning, perfect for running and cyling alike!
