Fantastic staff/owner that made our stay memorable and really went out of her way to help out (even though we only stayed one night). Great location if playing golf at Ålands Golfklubb. Nice and comfortable rooms. Great breakfast with outdoor seating. All you need from this type of simpler guest house - would definitely stay again!

These suites were excellent for us 4 sisters as there were 4 different beds and nobody had to share. Living room pull-out bed was not a sofa-bed but instead a comfortable full bed that could be folded away during the day. The kitchen included some necessities such as tea/coffee/sugar/salt and cleaning supplies. The area was very quiet with parking and we appreciated the chairs on the patio for when the sun was shining. Was a 10 minute walk into the shops/restaurants. The bathroom was lovely though we were a bit unsure about the value of the 'Japanese style' toilet. We were surprised that the suite was cleaned after the first day but it was still welcome. The place was easy to find by car from the ferry but would have also been within walking distance from the ferry. Only 8 minutes from the airport.

The host has described his property correctly and the pictures represented well the rooms, the facilities, parking etc. Knowing Mariehamn from before it was an easy decision to book the property. Kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom luxurious. The beds were really comfortable and sleeping on the couch went well.

The apartment was very modern and clean, the bathroom was huge and beautiful. The location is excellent, nothing better than sitting outside on the little terrace and enjoying the sea view and afternoon sun.

This accommodation was truly warm and homely. Everything we could possibly need was there – including a washing machine and dryer – and the host had thoughtfully provided all the necessary laundry supplies. The apartment had a lovely balcony, and the whole building was peaceful and quiet, creating a very calming atmosphere. We chose this place because we have a dog in our family, and he was genuinely welcome here – something that meant a lot to us. Thanks to this accommodation, we were able to enjoy our trip to the fullest. It really felt like home – every evening it was such a pleasure to return and settle in for a peaceful night’s sleep. Björnhofvda Gård is a really nice B&B with excellent facilities and very, very friendly staff. Breakfast was also nice with more than enough choice. Location cannot be beaten: very tranquil, rural environment. Would definitely not hesitate to return when the opportunity arises.

The house was absolutely beautiful and the location was great with a short walking distance to Mariehamn main street. There was a lot of space for 3 adults (could have easily fit 4 adults as well). The bedrooms are on the different sides of the apartment and the master bedroom had an ensuite bathroom. We loved the huge bed in the master bedroom and also the beautiful garden in the backyard of the house. The host, Kim, was very lovely and helpful and made us feel like home.
