Hotel Margarita is a great place to stay while in Sierpe. The room is big, bed is big and very comfortable. The shower is enormous (the biggest I've ever seen), water is hot and everything is super clean. You can use a large kitchen with all necessary amenities. But what is the most important, the people who work there are extraordinarily nice and helpful. My fiancee got dengue during our stay in Costa Rica and the owner called the pharmacy and gave me all the instruction that I needed. I can recommend this place 100%

We really enjoyed our stay at Oso de Osa. The host was very accommodating and made sure everything was perfect during our stay. We cannot recommend his cabanas enough.

Our stay at this apartment was absolutely wonderful! The place was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and perfectly equipped with all the amenities we needed. The location was ideal, conveniently close to the ferry dock. Our host, Adriana, warmly welcomed us and went above and beyond with her kindness and attention, even helping us resolve an issue with our laundry. Can't say enough about Anouk and Kevin's hospitality. Sabalo Lodge is off the beaten path but this is what we were looking for. After spending several days in La Fortuna and then Monteverde, our arrival to Sabalo Lodge felt like we had finally arrived to the Costa Rica we had come to experience. The food Kevin prepared for us was out of this world. No exaggeration! The large cabin we stayed in was very nice and spacious, beds very comfortable and a great porch to sit and relax or swing in the hammock. The grounds are very beautiful and we enjoyed the natural swimming pool each day we were there. Kevin arranged and took care of all the booking for our tours which were close by and didn't involve a whole lot of extra travel time in between. Free access to the kayaks was a bonus!! LOTS to explore close by. My son who is 9 had a fantastic time!

Forewarning: this is a farm offering authentic rustic experience, make sure this is what you are looking for. Spacious, clean house (rustic buildout), authentic local experience and connection with nature through lush vegetation, sightings and sounds from wildlife, bright stars in the sky, etc. Hosts working to enable all this and also serving tasty typical food (e. g. traditional soup from veal, increible). We appreciated the mosquito nets. A chance to socialize and learn about the lives of other travellers and of the hosts and other local people helping us with our travel. We found the location very strategic-allowing us to explore the nearby sights (Corcovado, Isla del Caño) and also continue our onward journey to Panama.

staff were AMAZING here. super friendly, great service and up for a great chat. served a lovely welcome fruit spread. make sure to try the lemonade!!! great coordination with the boat staff so you can get a pickup/dropoff (we walked). and also ensured we had a place on the boat for our departure time. drake bay is really small so it's easy to get to everything within 10 mins walk

We took some break from Van Life and this was perfect since you can either camp or have an AC Room. We had the AC Room. WIFI like everywhere, is via Starlink and it works well. We enjoyed the stay 🙂

We had a very nice time at Morpho House. Due to a last minute cancellation, we had to reserve the house on the very day and Valeria was quick to respond. She also sent us all the useful information. Having been welcomed personally on arrival, we also had a personal check out. There is everything you need in the kitchen as well as a pleasant sitting area. Besides, the bathroom and bedroom are spacious. Altogether, a very comfortable house in a quiet area: we would strongly recommend staying there.

First of all the location of this Place is what makes it stand out, its elevated over looking Bahi Drake and the sunset views in the evening are breathtaking. Everything about the hotel is fantastic, Victor was the main man for all things during our stay, from checking us in to making oustanding cocktails by the pool. Our room was named Trogon and overlooked the bay, the suspended wooden cabin has all you need and situated on the balcony a hammock perfect for relaxing in. Both breakfast and dinner were excellent, fine dining for dinner and the breakfast overlooking the bay, exceptional to see first thing in the morning also the coffee is made right in front of you as you look out over the ocean! The pool Area is fanstatic and you can look out over the ocean as you are in the pool, you can also access the beach from tha private entrance just a short walk down and over a hanging bridge. (you can see this from the pool) there is also a tower onsite you can get to which gives an amazing view from upon high (as long as heights dont bother you) Theres also plenty of wildlife around if you like that sort of thing, ( iguanas by the pool, even some Coattis roaming around ) every evening there were Macaws and Green parrots passing over and even some Toucans in the trees right next to our room! All in all an exceptional place to stay in the Drake area.
