Loved this comfortable and quiet stay in Urnasch. It was perfectly cozy and a great starting/end point for my hikes in the Appenzell area (only 30 mins away by train). Jessica was also very chill and friendly, she gave me some extra rosti she'd made too. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely stay here again.

An amazing host Lise - a very helpful, knowlegable and friendly person with who I had a very intersting conversation. I would honestly recomend this BnB to anyone. First of all, the hosts were very kind, and you really feel welcomed. The room was clean and comfortable, and it was cleaned regularly. The breakfast was very nice, and the hotel was close to the train station, so destinations were easy to reach. I had an amazing time!

My stay here was totally satisfying! The whole accommodation was super clean, which made me feel really comfortable throughout my trip. The kitchen had all the useful appliances I needed—dishwasher, fridge, microwave and stovetop—so it was super convenient to fix simple meals. Check-in was fully self-service, no need to wait around, which gave me a lot of freedom. One big plus: if you stay for 3 consecutive days, you can apply to the tourism bureau for reimbursement of your round-trip ticket costs. Highly recommend!
