Attractively situated in the centre of Kyoto, Onyado Nono Kyoto Shichijo Natural Hot Spring features buffet breakfast and free WiFi throughout the property. Featuring a restaurant, the property also has a spa and wellness centre, as well as a sauna and a hot spring bath. The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk, luggage storage space and currency exchange for guests. This is a big hotel that runs like a well oiled machine. The onsen is great, the rooms are decent size (for Japan) and the service is friendly and helpful. Lovely amenities too both at the onsen and in room. No shoes allowed in the hotel which adds to the cleanliness. Socks are supplied as are pajamas which everyone wears so you feel very much like you're part of the hotel community. Lots of free stuff thrown in like late night ramen, ice lollies, washing machines, massage chairs. Breakfast is amazing - huge selection of Japanese breakfast options to choose from and nothing ever runs out. Luggage transport service was also taken care of - my bag was waiting for me when I checked in. Loved this hotel.

This guesthouse is located along one of the Kumano Kodo Pilgrimage Routes and Yunomine Hot Spring, said to be one of the oldest hot springs baths in Japan, is a 5-minute walk from the property.

There are 2 indoor hot springs baths and an open-air bath at the property. We stayed here as a stopover during the Kumano Kodo. What a wonderful stay! Great place, the common area is well-equipped, and the private onsen (three in total) is absolutely the best after a day of hiking. Yunomine Onsen is a lovely little village. Highly recommend!

Facing the central shopping street of the Kinosaki Onsen hot spring area, Morizuya offers authentic Japanese-style accommodation, hot spring baths and Japanese dining. Guests can wear colourful yukata robes at the property. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. ○ Wow. Probably the nicest ryokan I’ve ever stayed at in Japan. ○ Room was incredibly spacious. Lots of space for walking around, different areas to sit. ○ Futon were very plush and comfortable. ○ The onsen in the ryokan were both amazing, but especially the cave one. Its nice that at night, they are private (no reservations, just need to check until they are open) and then separated by gender in the morning. ○ Breakfast and dinner were both delicious. ○ The chance to wear kimono, especially since you get to pick out the kimono, obi, and jacket. They also have hair clips. Also, the chance to have a tea ceremony after check in. Both these experiences were awesome. ○ On top of the rental yukata, geta, tabi socks, towels, and bag for the onsen, we were also given thick winter jackets to go over the yukata to keep us warm. It made walking around at night during winter much more enjoyable. ○ Also the free onsen pass! One of the many perks of staying at a ryokan. You can use it from check in until 1PM the day of checkout. ○ The owner was so incredibly kind, offering to take photos of us. We ended up walking around for more than half an hour to his favorite spots and getting some amazing shots. ○ Free parking is a bit removed, but that isn’t a big deal since the town is so small. They allowed us to park there from the morning of our stay and drop off our bags so we didn’t need to carry them across town. By the time we came for check in, our bags were in the room already.

Situated in Shirahama in the Wakayama region, with Shirarahama Beach and Saki-no-Yu Onsen Spa nearby, Bakery Hotel SHIRAHAMA ベーカリーホテル シラハマ features accommodation with free private parking, as well as access to a hot spring bath. Boasting a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. Kishu Museum of Art is 1.4 km away and Heisogen Park is 1.5 km from the apartment. We love this place. It is very peaceful and a nice 15 minute walk to many restaurants and beach. The staff made us feel so welcome. The bakery is top notch. I have had very delicious baked goods in multiple European countries, and this is right up there. We thought at first the mattress was a little firm(this seems standard in Japan), but ended up sleeping well.
