Simpy WOW! It is really an amazing place. We stayed there for one night just to get the experience in staying in a ryokan with onsen. We like anime so we chose this one as it has some features of Demon Slayer anime :) Room was amazing, sleeping on futons was really comfortable. Room was spacious. We were wearing yukatas during our stay and it was just amazing! Onsen was wonderful! And the dinner - OMG - super tasty! we felt really welcomed there and taken care of. One staff member who spoke English very well was explaining us what we were eating, how to cook different parts of the meal etc. It was so lovely. We really appreciate that! If we ever come to Japan again we will go there for sure.

The whole property was amazing- the building was immaculate on the inside, the rooms were spacious and quiet with a great view, the onsens were BEAUTIFUL, like straight out of a fairytale picturesque!

Both dinner and breakfast were very delicious. The food arrangement was a combination mostly of typical Japanese dishes with a touch of western cuisine. We stayed on New Year's Eve so we even got some special dishes on top! For drinks, there were also several home-made ones (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) to choose from. The owner was extremely nice! He and his partner have a lot of international travel experience, especially in Latin America and Spain. They have very broad perspectives, so it's not a problem to stay as a foreigner even if you haven't been to Japan before. The inn of course has a natural hot spring bath, and we were able to book a time-slot to use privately. It is a remote location far away from the city, so we could enjoy some time away from the busy city and do some stargazing as well. They keep several cats which are very cute and friendly towards the guests.

Excellent ryokan, and the service is impeccable. Since this ryokan is in an isolated location, it is mostly suited for travellers who are well-versed in Japanese language and culture.

Het Marumine ligt in Ashinomaki Onsen en biedt kamers met airconditioning en een eigen warmwaterbron in de openlucht. Situated in country,out of the city noise, surrounded by the mountains. To enjoy hot spring, it was a perfect place to do so. Staff were all very kind and helpful

Guesthouse & Kitchen Hace ligt op 11 km van Aquamarine Fukushima, en biedt een 2-sterrenaccommodatie in Iwaki en heeft een gedeelde lounge, een restaurant en een bar. Breakfast was individually organised and wrapped that made the whole experience a lot more unique. The whole building was an ex taxi noffice in traditional style. Had a cute little table for eating food. Don't expect spacious facilities, but if you are after traditional Japanese experience with home atmosphere, this Guesthouse is for you.

Lake View Inawashiro bevindt zich in Inawashiro, op 8,7 km van stratovulkaan Bandai, en biedt uitzicht op het meer. It’s my favorite type of low-tech hotels: it’s very quiet and comfortable. Rooms have a nice view, you can open windows and enjoy your stay.

Super Hotel Fukushima Iwaki bevindt zich in Iwaki, in de regio Fukushima, op 16 km van Aquamarine Fukushima. Gratis WiFi is beschikbaar en privéparkeren kan worden geregeld tegen een meerprijs. Clean, easy checkin and checkout. Breakfast also was much better than what I usually see in similar level hotels!

Large kitchen and dining area to make your own food, and really nice onsen with view of the forest. The twin room was huge and had a great view of the river. They offer some snacks and tap beer, and otherwise can help you find food in the area. There’s also a free shuttle to/from Fukushima station every day!
