Liked the black out curtains and the value of this hotel. I liked early morning breakfast and variety of breakfast. The bed was also comfortable. The views were beautiful from The hotel room. It’s also close to many convenient shops.

This location was absolutely phenomenal with a very attentive and lovely staff that helped us get settled in. Food was amazing, and the public bath experience was restorative and relaxing. The room had a nice view of the river. An in-room kerosene heater kept us nice and toasty and they generously provided drinks in the fridge. Highly recommend going around town on the walking path. We found the remnants of a stamp rally and tried to find as many as possible to add to our collection.

We were welcomed at the train station and pampered throughout our stay. The staff made an effort to communicate with us in English and it all worked fine. The bath(s) are amazing and the atmosphere in the hotel was very pleasant and familiar. The dinner experience was something we will long remember.

This Ryokan was a great stop on our road trip. The room was beautiful and the service was outstanding. The chef even prepared special food to accommodate our dietary requirements, and the Onsen was beautiful and heightened our experience.

Old but well kept hotel...I would say retro japanese style:) Very comfortable futon sleeping. Nice Onsen- indoor and outdoor. Extremly friendly stuff.
