Casa Mava is 5 min away to La Punta, 10 min away from Zicatela and a block away from the beach which makes it even a better place to stay. They offer beach towels, umbrellas and all you need to make your stay a wonderful experience. The pool area is fantastic and relaxing. Fernando, the manager is an amazing host, extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. He has great recommendations to do around. I highly recommend this place because it is simply perfect and it has all you need. Casa Mava, feels like home. Thank you for everything, staying here was the best experience ever!! We will definitely recommend it and we will stay here again when visiting Puerto Escondido.

They even checked for me at the airport for a jacket I left behind by accident. There’s always coffee and water. The rooftop is beautiful they even have some weights for working out. I loved the neighborhood many great eats and cafes nearby. They gave restaurant suggestions which exceeded my expectations. I loved this property and would stay here again. I’ve seen reviews complaining about noise but it’s very quiet there. Especially considering it’s Mexico. Mexico is not typically quiet. I had great sleeps here. The location was awesome very walkable to everything and I will return when I’m in Oaxaca again. They have everything you need. Tiny mini fridge in room and larger one to keep food in on second floor. Stocked kitchen on the rooftop to prepare food if you wish. Beautiful views. Just an amazing stay overall
