I would especially like to mention the Moroccan chef and the waiter Ashraf; they were both incredibly helpful and made our stay even more enjoyable. Also, the front desk staff were very welcoming, professional, and always ready to assist with a smile. Highly recommended!

If you plan on staying in Thoddoo, I definitely recommend Chillax. The hotel is situated in the center of the island with a 15 minute walk to either of the two Bikini beaches. The rooms are cleaned everyday, fresh towels and bedsheets are provided every 2-3 days. The staff is friendly and ready to help if you need anything (you can borrow bicycles, snorkeling equipment, beach towels). Food was delicious but be sure to be at breakfast/lunch/dinner on time because it disappears fast :D We had a great vacation here.

Everyone was amazing, kind and helpful, from the housekeeping to the manager, chef and the waiting staff! The beach and the restaurant are the stars of the resort in my honest opinion. If you are in for a quiet vacation, this is an unexpected gem! We enjoyed every second of it!

Guests can make use of a garden. Veligandu is an extraordinary resort for people looking for a totally peaceful holiday without people shouting, kids screaming around and loud music. It’s truly heaven if you’re looking for silence and complete relaxation. However if you’re someone looking for some partying and/or want to take small kids with you, this is not the most appropriate resort (fortunately). The best thing about Veligandu is the food. Every single meal is a 10/10, high quality ingredients and carefully prepared meals. It makes Veligandu on par with many fine dining and even Michelin guide restaurants across the world, even beating some of them. After renovations, the facilities and infrastructure turned out incredible, our ocean villa was out of this world, we couldn’t believe it when we walked in. Truly spectacular. The staff is super nice, and a special thanks to Nawal which was in charge of our villa and cleaning services. He did a superb job.

Dining highlights include the restaurant that serves a variety of cuisines, including local seafood with continental and Asian flavours. Other dining options, such as in-villa, on-the-beach private dinners and seafood BBQs, may also be arranged for guests upon request. Guests can also enjoy refreshing beverages and light dishes at the sunset-facing bar and lounge. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The food was absolutely delicious – fresh, flavorful, and with plenty of variety. The island itself is small but very charming and cozy, offering a perfect escape. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive, always ready to help. We also loved the abundant coral reefs and vibrant fish – a true paradise for snorkeling and marine life lovers. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with great food and beautiful nature, this hotel is definitely worth considering!

Staff was always super helpful, kind and prepared to help us and accustom to our tight schedule, which we are grateful about. Would definitely stay here again!
