When we arrived I saw one of the most breath taking views ever. The volcano is so close and makes a crazy impression. I could just stare at it. I wish we could stay longer. Such a peaceful and calm environment, breath taking view on the volcano, well maintained gardens, fantastic pool. So much wildlife- we could hear hundreds of birds all the time. I recommend visiting nearby restaurants as there are so many just a few minutes away. The only thing I didn’t like was a dinner at the hotel restaurant- it was expensive and really not too tasty. Very „Americanized” menu. I would rather have something local and simple. Breakfasts were wonderful though.

La Fortuna is less than 10 minutes’ drive away. Had an amazing stay at The Springs. Resort is absolutely gorgeous and the staff is super friendly, giving a tour upon entry. Always around to help out with any needs. Pools and hot springs are fantastic. Rooms are clean and beautiful.

Nayara Gardens is a luxury boutique hotel and spa set against the panoramic backdrop of the Arenal Volcano, surrounded by Costa Rican Rainforest. Private bungalows have a private terrace with a plunge pool. Everything. All the staff were amazing, the room was stunning and the bed comfortable. The restaurants were lovely and food delicious. Being able to see sloths from many parts of the property added to the experience. Special mention to Claudia & Isaac who both helped make our stay really special.

I appreciated how quiet it was despite being close to the main streets. The bed was spacious and very comfortable.

The room was super clean and the beds were very comfortable, I loved that the hotel is at a walking distance from La Fortuna waterfalls and a five minutes drive from the downtown where you can have access to restaurants, cafes and the hot springs. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, Esteban was very helpful and shared with me some beautiful location that I can visit. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be staying at Chato Arenal on my next visit to Costa Rica.
