Waratah On York offers individually decorated rooms with high ceilings and many original features from 1862. All rooms come with a flat-screen TV and tea and coffee making facilities. Some rooms also feature a bath and views of Tamar River. Check in was quick and efficient. Room was ready upon arrival. Room was clean and tidy. I am glad I went for the more unique stay in this restore Victorian mansion than in a standard hotel-gives the guest a taste for the beautiful architecture can be found within the city. Views from the window were great, overlooked the river and the city center. Centrally located and within walking distance to restaurants, shops, museums.
