The views from the terrace are absolutely breathtaking! In the mornings we could watch different antelopes coming to the river to drink – what an unforgettable experience. The cottage itself is full of character and beautifully designed, with every detail thought through. Our room was stunning – the best accommodation we had during our 5-day safari. Super comfortable bed and pillows, soft linen, hot water, quality toiletries – even mosquito spray was provided. Everything was perfect. The service was outstanding. The gentleman who welcomed us, assisted during dinner and breakfast, and bid us farewell was truly remarkable – such politeness, gentleness, and care. He made us feel special and looked after, not just like another guest. The food was delicious, and we highly recommend the optional dinner – every dish was excellent. We only stayed one night, but it was far too short. We are already dreaming of coming back for a longer stay!

Very nice room.and.gorgeous bathroom. We also liked the terrace to enjoy a couple hours of just chilling. The food was also great. And the friendly staffing topped the experience.

What sets this lodge apart from other lodges is that it is run with great care and love by its owners Val and Neil. They take great care of their guests, are very friendly, super responsive to any kind of questions, very knowledgable about the area with great tips, and the best of all is their home made food - absolutely delicious. If you plan your safari/game drive, contact them first. They have excellent contacts for the best safari tours in Kruger. Overall, we had an amazing time and would always come back!

There is also a stovetop, toaster and a kettle. We had a wonderful stay here. The hospitality and service were excellent, and the rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The location was perfect, with plenty of animals often coming right up to the property, which made our experience truly memorable. It felt like being surrounded by nature while still enjoying every comfort. A special thank you to Nason, who was always so attentive and took care of us in the best possible way. We also appreciated our host Drei, who constantly checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Their kindness and genuine care made our stay feel even more special. We would highly recommend this place for its comfort, warm service, and unforgettable atmosphere.

This property features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. Really incredible experience! The house is beautiful and clean, the hosts are informative, friendly and really go out of their way to make the experience incredible. The breakfast was very tasty and there are animals that come up to the house to say hello (giraffe, pumba etc). Highly recommend it!!

Dear Leanne and team, Thank you so much for the most magical few days at Kambaku. My partner and I have travelled a lot doing many safaris and our time here was second to none. The accommodation was truly a truly stunning and it was so special to have animals in the back yard then just over the fence were most of the big five during our stay as well. The staff were incredible, Dennis and Elvis brought smiles and joy each day then the massages were simply fantastic as well. Also the messaging system to keep upto day was incredible and very helpful. We loved all the food we got and it was amazing to have it all by our own pool as well.
