Minimal and welcoming space. We loved being able to cook and eat sitting outside looking at the palm trees and the sea. Good A/C, fridge and TV. The host is lovely and attentive. I particularly liked the outside toilet. There's a place to rent scooters round the corner which is handy to get everywhere in the island.

Visiting Yangyai Garden Lodge is a whole other level of experience. I felt welcomed and taken care of, like nowhere else during my whole trip around Asia. The owner, mr. Ping made hospitality his craft, and is always ready to provide a guidance around the island, give you a free ride to the festival, or pier, and entertain you with his excelent company. The room was spot on clean, and maintained. Best stay in the whole island

I stayed here 20 years ago and returned this year. The lodge has been renovated and is more upscale now but it still has a relaxed and traditional vibe and they were very welcoming and happy to see I had returned. -The staff were very helpful -The lodge is located on the best part of the beach with the nicest sand and sea area -The pool is lovely

We loved it so much we stayed an extra night and booked to go back. It's like staying in a treehouse, clean and tidy resort nice pool, kettle and hairdryer in lodge. Hammock on balcony,. Nice pool and close to beach. Helpful and happy staff. what more could you want. Would highly recommend. Great value for the money.
