Vis Ta Vie -Thema Collection is gelegen in Mirissa, op een paar minuten lopen van Kamburugamuwa Beach en 34 km van Hummanaya Blow Hole, en biedt accommodatie met gratis WiFi, airconditioning en... Uitzicht op de oceaan vanuit de kamer, mooi zwembad, het enorm vriendelijk personeel, het lekker eten (wij aten de visschotel s avonds met een tafeltje in het zand onder de palmbomen). Als je langs de heel drukke weg rijdt (wij reden zelf met tuktuk) dan kan je niet denken dat er zo n mooi hotel achter de poort ligt. Aanrader!

Sinharaja Kurulu Ella Eco Resort bevindt zich in Deniyaya en biedt gratis WiFi, een tuin, een terras en een restaurant. Sommige units hebben een eigen badkamer met bidet. Location was amazing, very close to the gate entrance of sinharaja rain forest. A beautiful waterfall 2 min from the room. The rooms are great hearing the sound of the waterfall, Manisha makes the best food. Highly recommended for people who like to be close to nature, seeking for adventures or just chill in serene environment.

Natural Mystic Sanctuary in Deniyaya biedt accommodatie met uitzicht op de bergen, een seizoensgebonden buitenzwembad, een tuin, een terras en een restaurant. Er is gratis WiFi. Gran-di-oos uitzicht. Accommodatie ligt stukje tegen de berg op. Heerlijk bed, douche met warm water. Restaurant met (optioneel) drie fantastische vegetarische maaltijden per dag, zodat je er niet uit hoéft. Het water kan uit de tap gedronken worden. Groot terrein om over te lopen. Wasservice. Vanuit hier kan je makkelijk naar Singharadja rainforest (die regelen een tuktuk voor je). Heerlijk terras met ligstoel, hangmat, hang/zit hoek. Wakker worden door het licht, en oerwoud geluiden. Aan de rivier, en met een zwembad.

Ripple by the river ligt in Weligama, op 2,1 km van Weligama-strand, en biedt gratis WiFi, gratis privéparkeren en uitzicht op de tuin. Als je ergens moet overnachten in Sri lanka dan is dit de plek!! De eigenaren zijn twee geweldige lieve mensen, die je eigelijk het liefste de hele dag wilt knuffelen en de wereld gunt. Je slaapt in een prachtige en veilige omgeving, met een super schone fijne kamer en badkamer. De tuin is waanzinnig mooi en zit vol met bijzondere dieren. De eigenaren willen je met alles helpen en staan de hele dag voor je klaar. Het eten wat ze voor je maken is het lekkerste wat wij op het eiland hebben gegeten, je proeft de liefde die er in zit. De passie die deze mensen voor het zorgen en je een fijne tijd geven is onwaarschijnlijk. Dit is voor ons de plek in Sri lanka en voelt echt oprecht als thuis komen. De locatie is overigens ook helemaal perfect je zit midden in de jungle en je kan de drukte opzoeken, nog geen 10 minuten rijden naar mooiste stranden of stadjes. Als je naar Sri lanka gaat is dit echt de plek om te overnachten, niet alleen voor de locatie maar ook de veelste lieve mensen die dit guesthouse runnen. Wij hebben meer dan genoten van onze tijd en als we terug denken aan Sri lanka staat deze overnachting echt op nummer 1 van ons lijstje. Zodra je hier komt wil je hier het liefste maanden blijven. Lunuvila Resort Hiriketiya Dikwella ligt in Dikwella, op 9 minuten lopen van Dickwella-strand, en biedt gratis WiFi, gratis privéparkeren en uitzicht op de tuin. our absolute favorite stay in sri lanka! we kept extending it because oh we loved it so much. 1. the place is ideally located between dickwella and hiriketiya. close to the main road but far enough to be quiet! (important for us) 2. the room is extremely clean and well-thought out. very beautifully decorated with so much love and attention to detail. we had everything needed and couldn’t ask for more really. having our own kitchen was a huge plus and you can also do your laundry here. 3. the host Dasitha is one of the nicest (if not the nicest) person we’ve ever met. he was so patient and humble and truly cared about our experience…! very welcoming and friendly. great communication too. made our stay so special. helped us a lot in all possible aspects of our travel. feeling very grateful we decided to stay there and meet him. 4. the space: there’s a quiet outdoor area with sunbeds. we loved it! 5. unbeatable value for the price.! we couldn’t wish for a better accommodation! can’t recommend enough and look forward to coming back. thank you so much Dasitha!

Unrushed Midigama bevindt zich op 2,1 km van Midigama Beach, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, een terras en een gedeelde keuken. De lodge beschikt over zowel gratis WiFi als privéparkeren. Good wifi, massive lawn, and my personal favourite- monster lizard. It lives in the lawn. You can walk to the beach and all the eateries. Manu is very resourceful and can get you most of the things. Just ask him!

Everything! The garden, the bungalow with it’s private space outside to chill, the common areas where people got together to drink, eat or just chat… It’s also a 1 minute walk from the beach and literally 30 seconds from awesome coffe shops and restaurants. The hosting family is kind and will help you with anything you need. I had the chance to know more about them and how midigama has evolved in the past 40 years. It was really interesting and they are the sweetest people. Also, 2 great surfing spots just a few minutes walk from the bungalows. I will surely come back! Thanks for everything!

Rainforest Nature House ligt in Deniyaya in de regio Matara District en biedt accommodatie met gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeren. Location and hospitality of the workers is beyond exceptional. You cannot beat the views, and waking up to the beautiful jungle and forest right from your bedroom, or the dreamy fireflies at night from the balcony. Their home kitchen menu is superb, made fresh to order, and super tasty. We had delicious breakfast, lunch, and dinner options all tasty and satisfying. The owners also connected us with a great hiking guide in the Sinharaja forest who pointed out rare species, took us to waterfalls, and even prepped us so we would not get leeches on our shoes. This location is absolutely the best and we would come back again! 100% recommend to anyone considering visiting the Sinharaja forest. They are family owned, and extremely kind people.

Amazing value for money, everything is new from your room to furniture to kitchen utensils, owner is very respectful and easy to communicate, attentive and trying to get what you need. Located in a strategic area right between busy Ahangama and Midigama, right in front of the beach. I initially booked 2 nights and booked extra three nights, I’m definitely coming back!
