The lodge offers 1-star accommodation with a hot spring bath and spa centre. Everything! What an incredible stay! Moomin Papa and Mama spared no effort in ensuring everything was absolutely perfect. Not only was there a convenient shuttle bus stopping right outside Pension Moomin Papa to transport guests to the ski resorts, but whenever the shuttle didn't reach our desired destination, Moomin Papa graciously drove us wherever we needed to be. The private onsen provided a rejuvenating experience after a full day of skiing. Additionally, a delicious Western-style breakfast was provided every morning for only 1000 yen, adding to the exceptional value of our stay

If i can give 100⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ i stay for 6 nights with my husband & kids. Mr. Chen is really super kind, so caring to his guest, super polite, super generous.. I am at a loss for words to describe how kind he is. I am really very grateful for Mr. Chen's kindness and attention. Thank you so much Mr. Chen’s we will never forget your kindness. The room and bathroom are super comfortable and clean. They are always cleaned every day. The location is super strategic because the shuttle stop is right across the street. At check in and check out, Mr. Chen will pick you up and drop you off on time. There is not a single negative thing about this place.

The property offers a free shuttle service. Free private parking is available on site. Amazing ski hotel close to all the action. The hotel is really cosy with multiple private baths. The rental options are at a far better price, and there are a lot of big European sizes. The owner goes above and beyond for the customer, offering to drive from the station to the mountains. The breakfast is also very tasty :).

I had a very pleasant stay at Sakka Sanso. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Both meals were excellent—the breakfast was healthy and filling, while the dinner was delicious and satisfying. The bathroom features an onsen, providing a relaxing soak after a refreshing shower. They also provided convenient transportation to and from the station, which was greatly appreciated. Overall, it was a truly wonderful experience, and I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Hakuba.

The hosts are kind and thoughtful and gave us very good advice for dinner locally and for our next destination. Best of all, the breakfast was delicious and kept us going all day. Our room was small, but we knew that when we booked so we were not bothered by that in any way. Aovely way to break up the trip from Tokyo to Kamikochi if you have a car and it is worth a visit just for the sake of being there.
