Since the moment I arrived, the owner Gudrun received me with open arms and gave me a map right away with places to visit around Snaefellsnes! She was very sweet and caring! The cabin was absolutely wonderful, equipped with everything you need to have a pleasant stay. The dinner both night was absolutely INCREDIBLE! The lamb and the pasta were SOOOOO GOOD! Worth it every penny! The breakfast was also wonderful. Gudrun really cares about her visitors, and you can truly tell by the way she helps and is always available, plus she’s a wonderful cook! As a solo traveler, it truly made me feel like home, which honestly, was the best! I’ve been in Iceland for 2 weeks now and have stayed at 10 different places, this one has been BY FAR! The best! What a wonderful stay!

The lodge provides guests with a terrace, mountain views, a seating area, cable flat-screen TV, a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge and a microwave, and a private bathroom with shower and a hairdryer. A stovetop and toaster are also offered, as well as a coffee machine and a kettle. Place is very new and well equipped. Beautiful view and all details inside, in kitchen especially, are taken care of. Great comfy bed.
