Orangutan Bungalow in Bukit Lawang biedt accommodatie met uitzicht op de bergen, gratis fietsen, een tuin, een terras, een restaurant en een barbecue. Er is gratis WiFi. Gids kwam mij ophalen van het busstation, gezamenlijk naar het verblijf gelopen. De communicatie voor en tijdens het verblijf was ook echt top. Heel erg behulpzaam. De bedden liggen ook goed en er is een klamboe aanwezig.

From the cute little huts to the super kind and capable staff, we were happy about everything! We want to point out the excellent organization of our pick up and drive by Yusuf, the welcome at the lodge, then the core piece the jungle trekking with Andi who was so knowledgeable about orang-utans and the rain forest. The food at the lodge was great too. Bukit Lawang is a place where things still seem intact and tourists are decent and treated kindly too. If it wasn‘t so far, I would go back in a heartbeat. It was an exceptionnal experience!

They arrange everything so well and take such good care of you, from the airport to your stay at the Garden Inn and especially during the jungle trekking. We did the two days one night trekking with Jerry, Rudy & Abdi. The guides are very funny, knowledgeable about everything and Abdi’s food was amazing! The trekking was tough but we had so much fun and saw many orangutans and other animals. Unforgettable experience and definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Indonesia! After the trekking we spent another night at the Garden Inn and did the village tour with Pindu, perfect way to learn more about the local community! He also let us make our own tempeh and gado gado, which was a lot of fun. If you are planning to visit Bukit Lawang, we would recommend to book everything with the Garden Inn team. On The Rocks Bungalows, Restaurant and Jungle Trekking Tours bevindt zich in Bukit Lawang en biedt gratis WiFi, een tuin, een gedeelde lounge en een terras. Great staff, all inquiries solved, felt like home. Family atmosphere, great food and view. You need to be quite fit to get there though :)

We had a truly wonderful stay at Frenkie’s villa in Krui. The place was beautiful, comfortable, and perfectly set up for a relaxing holiday. But what made our time extra special was the kindness and thoughtfulness of Frenkie and his wife. They surprised me with a cake and doughnuts for my birthday, which was such a heartwarming gesture and made me feel incredibly welcome and cared for. I’m so grateful for their generosity—it really made the experience unforgettable. I couldn’t recommend this villa and these amazing hosts enough. Thank you, Frenkie!

Livio Homestay bevindt zich in Andalas, op 50 km van Hatta Palace, en biedt accommodatie met een terras, gratis WiFi en roomservice. Deze accommodatie met uitzicht op de bergen heeft een balkon. Het huisje is zeer schoon en het uitzicht is prachtig! De eigenaar Fouad en zijn vrouw zijn zeer vriendelijk en hulpvaardig. Toen op de eerste avond het restaurantje in de buurt gesloten bleek, kwam Fouad meteen met zijn auto naar ons toe om ons naar een restaurant in een andere plaats te brengen. En: er zijn 's avonds vuurvliegjes te zien voor en achter het huisje!

AAL Homestay in Sabang biedt accommodatie met uitzicht op de zee, een tuin, een privéstrand en een terras. Er is een waterpark en je kunt in de buurt van de lodge uitstekend vissen. It's a quiet place..I really enjoyed my stay.. the staff was nice and very easy to deal with upon check in and check out.. its not too far from town..the room was clean also the bathroom..the owner just cleaned the pool only to give fun to my daughter..really appreciate that..will stay with the same homestay if i come again.

Ecolodge Bukit Lawang bevindt zich in Bukit Lawang en biedt gratis WiFi, een tuin, een terras en een restaurant. Er zijn zowel fietsverhuur als autoverhuur beschikbaar bij de lodge. The accommodation is set in the forest across the rope bridge close to a transport hub and local shops, cafes where u can buy snack and drinks were u are supporting the local community. The room was clean and well presented the shower had tepid water which is exactly what is required. Mosquito net proved over the bed. The restaurant venue is hi completely constructed with bamboo it is open and airy with a lovely view of the river it also has a great food menu and bar with good service, the Wi-Fi in this area is very good, there is no Wi-Fi in the rooms which we enjoyed :-) Breakfast was nice and plenty of coffee. It’s only a 20m walk down to the river for a lovely swim. We did a single day’s trek in to jungle booked through the hotel after arrival. We walking from the lodge, we saw 5 Orangutans and the Alpha Male plus another 3 different type’s of monkeys all this was in the first few hours, the lunch was nice fruit and rice our guide was Aldo who was young but very professional ( highly recommend) he was smartly dressed fully equipped with a first aid kit ( leeches) and also spoke English it was a pleasure to be in his company. We really enjoyed our stay of 3 nights thanks to all the staff We were also there over the weekend no karaoke from across the river

Palanta Roemah Kajoe Syariah Villa is gelegen in Kampungdurian met uitzicht op de stad en heeft een restaurant, roomservice, bar, tuin en terras. Het personeel is ongelooflijk vriendelijk. Ik voelde me ziek, waarna een van de personeelsleden medicatie is gaan halen bij de apotheek. Personeel kwam bovendien meermaals checken of ik beter was. Enorm lieve mensen, toplocatie, proper, veel faciliteiten en een goed restaurant.
