The studio is very large with a really well appointed kitchen area, spotless bathroom, table and chairs for dining/work, sofa for relaxing and the bed is tucked away at the far end of the large space. The grounds are lovely and the house is located a couple of minutes away from the nearest town (which is also very nice). The surrounding area is spectacular with incredible views and walks. The owners are lovely too!

At the lodge guests are welcome to take advantage of a hot tub. The view from the two rooms upstairs is amazing! The room itself is very nice too, and it's absolutely worth it to stay there for the view of Alhambra! The owner really cares about this place and prepares breakfast for you if you want breakfast (it costs extra, but it was cheap compared to other places we stayed). Excellent communication with the owner. There is another room downstairs that does not have the view... I would ask for the upstairs room if possible. The place is located in the Albaicin neighborhood, that means you cannot reach the place by car or bus, but you can only walk there (get there with a backpack and not heavy suitcases on wheels). The neighborhood is wonderful too. You can walk to Alhambra, but the walk is steep and it can get hot during the Summer months. You can take the bus from there nearby that takes you to Alhambra main entrance. If we visit Granada again I will definitely stay in this place again.

The host is so friendly and goes out of way to make your stay extra special with lots of helpful tips on the area . There was a lovely surprise too with fresh fruit yogurt / oats and milk tea and coffee all provided as a generous gesture . Thank you so much Mar.

La Duquesa Golf is 44 km from the lodge, while Iglesia de Santa María la Mayor is 46 km from the property. From the minute we got there we were made to feel welcome. Josep is a most gratious host as is Vince his helper. This is such a beautiful place. Perfect to disconnect. I am a lover of all animals and there were plenty to see, from furbabies to Donkeys. The cabin has everything you could possibly need and more. The stove fireplace makes it so cosy. The room is so beautiful and I think I could easily have spent many more days there. They also have a BBQ area, where in the summer months you can prepare a lovely paella and so much more. We were given plenty of fire wood at no extra charge. You have to travel down a dirt track but this is absolutely no problem just take it slow. I will definitely be back and can highly recommend this little piece of Heaven on Earth ❤️

Great spot to relax and decompose after a long drive. We were heading to Frigiliana from Barcelona, had some hard time securing a hotel right in Frigiliana due to our early arrival. So it couldnt be a better decision to stay at Casa Junius. The hosts were simply amazing, so welcoming n accommodating. The property was spotless above everything else. Loved it! Oh, and one more thing, heads up for cat lovers, you’ll find a few affection seeking cats at the property, so get ready to pet them as much as you care 🤭🙈 Anyway, do yourself a favor, book it, preferably for a few days, to make the best of it. Will come back again definitely.
