We had an amazing time at Milima. Everything was perfectly organized and taken care of down to the smallest detail. The location is stunning, even more beautiful than the photos. It's truly special to watch the wildlife at the waterhole right from your breakfast table or poolside lounger. But what made our stay truly unforgettable were the game drives with Thomas! Thomas is an incredible guide who knows everything about the animals and nature, and he goes above and beyond to make the experience as special as possible for his guests. We felt very special in this beautiful place. The service was outstanding. The pool area was the perfect place after an exhausting safari. Also the view platform is very nice and if you are lucky you can see some animals as well. Plus point: There are three very friendly ostriches in the place. Thanks a lot for a very special time for us. Highly recommended! Dinner was also delicious in a modern and artful Restaurant.

From the moment we arrived at this unique luxury boutique lodge we felt the warmth and sincerity in the hospitality of the owner and staff. We stayed in a very private and secluded unit with its own little dipping pool that gave us the feeling of complete serenity in an awe-inspiring riverside setting-- complete with a firefly show at night. Chef Lucky did not disappoint in any of the culinary presentations during our stay. Refreshing cocktails and excellent wine selection. Sunset drives on the property with frequent sightings of a variety of animals, even herds of cape buffalo, motor boat cruises on the dam, romantic private sunset picnics, relaxing and lounging with cool dips in the pools overlooking the dam with even a little crocodile sunning island-- these were just a few of the special touches. The main lodge is beautifully decorated with originality and attention to detail. We looked forward to the evening fireside dinners, with wonderful menu selections. Great place to just relax and commune with nature in the bush or if preferred, arrangements for Big 5 drives in Kruger were also available. Special credit goes to the young, energetic and charismatic owner/operator, Francis, for her vision in creating such an outstanding experience.

We had an exceptional time. The staff treated us like family. The room was gorgeous (with a pool and outdoor showers so we can enjoy the water while being eyed by giraffes, impala, and baboons), they organised a night outside under the stars in an observation tower, a game drive that we'll never forget, a picnic by the river, a chance to meet elephants at a nearby reserve, and many delicious meals that we enjoyed on our own. The perfect retreat regardless of whether it's family or something romantic. I can't wait to come back.
