This place was absolutely spectacular, hidden far away from everything on a hill. Our room was so beautiful the staff were amazing!!! And the food was incredible at the restaurant stunning views of the ocean. We got the Jacuzzi room and it was breathtaking i loved every bit of our stay here, and I definitely love to go back again soon ❤️

We were so impressed with this place - it looked even nicer than the photos. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was only a 2 minute walk down to the beach, and there were some very nice food places close by. Beautiful pool too!

We came for two nights and stayed for 2 weeks. The Amed Lodge is an authentic, boutique Balinese hotel with some beautiful Japanese design touches. The rooms are all designed individually and have a lot of character and style. The lodge is situated right on a quiet stretch of beach where you can swim and do some nice snorkeling. We felt very welcome and enjoyed talking to Pina, Ayu and the team. Terima kasih. kami ingin kembali lagi.

We really enjoyed our stay here! We've been fully nomadic for over a year and sometimes we just need to stay put, work, plan, etc. and some daily snorkeling wouldn't hurt! The staff is so friendly and welcomed us like family. Our airport transfer went well, the room met expectations, and the reef is lovely. Even in the middle of rainy season we had some sunshine here and there and a few days of nice visibility in the water. We never left the property because the restaurant is convenient with good variety of options and fair prices. The location is impossible to beat with direct beach access and the reef just below. We loved it and would stay again!

The private swimming pool and the wonderful mountain views. The beach was only a 10 minute walk away. Some lovely restaurants. Aldi Resto and Amed beach hotel were great. There is a cleaner (Kadec) who is very nice who comes around in the morning. Apart from that you are on your own So you need to go into the village to enquire about snorkeling, etc. There is a well enough stocked small supermarket near the beach 10 min walk. Wi-Fi was very good. I managed to conduct a webinar.

Shagir livin is a perfect little getaway near Sidemen. The perched on top of a hill, overlooking a river/rice terrace valley. I loved waking up to this view in the morning or sitting in the little pool and watching the rafts go by on the river below. At night, you fall asleep to the sounds of the jungle. The cottage is exactly like the photos, the bed is really comfortable and the shower didn't run out of hot water. The breakfast is tasty and they provide contact information for a masseuse that will come to the villa and a couple of dinner places that will deliver (I was able to arrange both on very short notice via WhatsApp). A few reviews mentioned mosquitos and bugs - I actually didn't find this to be a problem. There is a plug-in repellent in the cottage that worked very well to keep the critters away. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Made owner very helpful. Sorted all travel needs. Picked up at the airport and returned me at the end of the stay. Made operation supervisor very kind and help me go to massage on his scooter. He recently recieved some nice trainers and plans to offer guided walks. Kardex the hard worker. Making up my room so well. Creating creatures with the towels. Fun to come into my villa after he had serviced it. Also very joyful person happy to get meals and run me around. The Mayu Villa has a great atmosphere shining through from the care of the plants and grass. The tranquil river sounds, the birds and butterflies. Will return without a second thought.
