Perfect, a bit remote (which is a really good thing), above the sea. The owners are really nice and helpful. Rooms are nice, clean, and there is a little kitchen with essentials.

This charming lodge is set in a beautiful location just a short drive from the center of Strahan. The staff were incredibly friendly. Beautiful grounds. There were nice spots to sit outside and look out over the water. There are also BBQ facilities and a fire pit that we didn't have time to use that looked great. We loved the shared kitchen/sitting room which overlooked the garden and water. We also loved that the owners had included the story of the house in the room documents - just fascinating!

The Wilderness Lodge was a beautiful place to stay. Our room looked exactly like the picture. The bed was comfortable. The grounds were gorgeous and the kitchen/dining/lounge area was a great place to mingle with other guests. John & Desma are beautiful hosts.

Arrived early and host was happy for us to roam around the gardens enjoying the view while our room was being prepared. Room was large with a big comfy bed, kitchenette and lovely sitting area to enjoy the sea view. Lots of seating areas around the gardens to take in the views. An easy walk into town. Staff were friendly & helpful. Large, shared kitchen area and lounge in the lodge was clean and comfortable.
