Magical peaceful space set about 2k from the city of Ella, with a short tuck tuck ride to the city centre. A family run business who was so kind and nice. A big, healthy breakfast. A large double room with a big private balcony. Really comfortable bed. Would highly recommend for people who don't want to be in the madness and loudness of Ella. The owner arranged everything for us. He even recommended a lovely restaurant and dropped us to the door.

Incredible views from the room and terrace! Spacious, cosy room with a kettle provided and hot water in the shower. The service was outstanding - the host communicated effectively and even gave us a free lift to the train station. The food was delicious and the servings were very generous. We even stayed at fancier hotels such as Marino Beach in Colombo and the duvet/comforter was more comfortable here and the service was better too. The room was also extremely clean, much cleaner than anywhere else we stayed in Sri Lanka. We couldn’t believe the amazing quality of this place for the price!

Obey was a great host! His breakfast was outstanding, we had one western then one Sri Lankan, he went over and above for me and my family! Rooms were lovely, he even did some of our laundry and got stains out of our white clothing !

Loved everything! Room was incredible, views like nothing else, delighted to have a bed that could roll onto the balcony and a hammock for relaxation. Spa was beautiful with serene views and reasonably priced (it was cheaper than the place we went to in town!). Restaurant staff were lovely. If the sights of Ella weren't so fantastic, we would have happily spent every second in this room.

We stayed for 2 nights and had a great experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to answer our questions and assist us. The view from the balcony was absolutely beautiful, a perfect place to relax. Although the location is a bit far from the city, the property offers its own shuttle service to the center at any time you need, which was very convenient. The only small downside was that the room got a bit chilly in the evenings.

This was probably the best accommodation we had in Sri Lanka. The owner was very kind. We rented a tuktuk going to Ella. He drove our tuktuk going to his place, bought us dinner from the city, and cooked us a very sumptuous breakfast. The place was amazing. Although it had no a/c, we were still able to sleep well at night. Apparently, there were not much bugs during our stay there. The place is just beside the famous Asanka Cafe.

Very friendly staff, lovely place and a perfect location. Views of Ella rock. Comfortabe beds with curtains. Rented a scooter for 3days with the hostel for 7500. WiFi was fine.

The hotel is exactly as pictured with panoramic views spanning between little Adam’s peak and Ella rock, a really beautiful spot. The rooms are laid out with a full glass wall to enable you to fully appreciate the view. Hotel was very clean, staff were working around the clock to keep it that way- which I am sure is challenging given the rain and the dirt road leading up to the property. Breakfast was very good and plentiful. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.

This hotel deserves its name! We had a great view on the surroundings: water fall, Adam’s peak and Ella rock. On top, we had the best breakfast on Sri Lanka in this hotel. The owners were very friendly. We were picked up from the main street to the premises by a tuk tuk.

Very nice and spacious room, the Centre of Ella and the train station are in walking distance. The Ella rock is also walkable straight from the hotel. Very nice staff and a nice pool area. The breakfast was amazing with a Sri Lankan and an international buffet.

Host was super friendly. Great breakfast with an amazing view. Hostel is a bit off from the centre but therefor very relaxing. The host offered us a good tuktuk driver. You can climb Ella Rock straight from the hotel. We strongly recommend this beautifull place

This was by far our favourite stay in Sri lanka. This was the first time we came to a place that looked nicer than in the pictures on booking. Kavi, the host is so helpful and very kind. The place is stunning! The view was amazing and so was the apartment. It was very new and very clean. The breakfast was very good aswell. We were super satisfied! It was also a short walk downhill to get to Ella rock, and there is a small super market close by. If you plan on going to Ella, you definitly should check out this place! A hidden gem.

Cute homely hostel, with the hottest showers I’ve found in Sri Lanka. The owner is super sweet and will give you recommendations on walks and shortcuts. It’s close to the ella rock and waterfall walks.
