We stayed in a log cabin, which was very spacious, big jacuzzi and everything you could want. The heated floors were great, so warm. The shuttle bus to the main building always came very quickly after calling them.

From the second we stepped onto the threshold of this hotel, we felt welcomed and super cozy. Although the lady at the reception didn't speak English, she still did her best to explain everything we needed to know about the hotel and the area. We also had complimentary sweets and participated in a small tea ceremony, which was something we, as tourists visiting Japan for the first time, appreciated so much. The place had four private onsen rooms, with all the necessities you might need, such as different shampoos, towels, hairbrushes and cotton pajamas after the bath! Sleeping on the bed felt like sleeping on a cloud. Yubatake was 1 minute away from us. The breakfast was delicious. I wish we had stayed there longer!

Walk around Yubatake.

Walk around Yubatake. The lower portion of it there is a waterfall. Make sure to walk it at night if you are not to tired. We were tired, but we walked around it at night and we are glad we did. The light reflecting off of it makes it so beautiful!

Nice unique little town with many to see including wildlife. The people of Kusatsu are very friendly and helpful. Recommend to bring a face mask/cover in case the smell from the water is too strong when visiting the Yubatake. Good for 2D1N trip.

Kusatsu Onsen town is amazingly picturesque and absolutely worth visiting with Kusatsu Onsen Village hotel having amazing hot spring on their territory. It's serene, very tranquil and perfect for relaxation. They also have a shuttle bus to the station which is very close to the main attraction - Yubatake bath ♨️ The atmosphere there is absolutely unique, both on the rainy day and with bright sun - you can sit at various foot baths and enjoy a beautiful day.

Effectively a detached bungalow, which gives a fantastic experience of Japanese home life and a refreshing change from typical hotels. The caretaker was very helpful and friendly, and free use of a kitchen was much appreciated. Remarkably well located, and close to both Yubatake and the bus station. Overall a phenomenal experience, and easily my go-to for future Kusatsu visits.

Excellent location, next to Sainonkawara Park, which had the best open air Onsen and Foot Bath area. Within easy walking distance of the town center and the Yubatake. And best of all, Miki (the owner) and her staff were outstanding hostesses! Miki, in particular, went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. The room we had was spacious and had a western-style bed. We definitely, will return to this hotel in the future!

The hotel is located in the heart of Kusatsu town and enjoyed the illuminated night Yubatake which is a few steps from the front door. We had a nice view from the large room with a table and chairs and a tatami room, good value. They had shuttle bus to take us to another nearby sister hotel to experience different Onsen.

The customer service is excellent. The staff is awesome. The parking attendants are extremely helpful and polite. It is something that we appreciated very much. The breakfast and dinner are great. They are great experiences for new visitors. The location is amazing. It is right next to Yubatake. The inside of the hotel room is a bit dated but it gives you a taste of the traditional Japanese room. The public bath is great as well

Great location-close to yubatake and Kusatsu bus terminal. The rooms were spacious and very clean with 2 full size beds that were very comfortable and warm. The Staff was so friendly and helpful. They let us store our luggage so we could explore the area after checking out. The manager even offered to transport our luggage to the next hotel. This is one of the more affordable places to stay in Kusatsu and we will definitely stay here again!
