The hotel is one of the best in its category that I have ever experienced. In the Venice winter it is agreeably warm and the cleanliness is a noteworthy highlight. Its location is extraordinary: situated just a minute away from Piazza San Marco. Opting for a rate that includes the breakfast, you will have a satisfactory meal in the morning to start your day, with a variety of fruits, bread, cheese, “prosciutto”, “salumi” and a choice of cappuccino, macchiatto, hot chocolate or tea. A special mention must be made of Vito. He is the best concierge that you can find in Venice. He knows the best restaurants and will kindly make your reservations. He also has the best tips to enhance your stay and allow you to enjoy your trip in the best way. All the staff is very helpful and gentle, but Vito will make the difference. You can always rely on his assistance.

Everything, from the warm hospitality of the staff to the little details, like the beverages in the fridge & snacks, which were replaced every day. Best location, 2 minutes from Piazza San Marco. Close to the vaporetto station. Affordable restaurants around, even though it is the city center. Quiet room. Modern furniture, exceptional cleaning. Definitely made it one of the best trips ever!!

Piazza San Marco

If you want to dig a bit deeper into Agrigento’s glittering history, this is the place to come. The Regional Archaeological Museum is full of ancient artefacts from the area’s Hellenic past, each one supported by a fascinating back story. It’s the perfect complement to your visit to the Valley of the Temples.

Expansive!

Expansive! There was some water in the Piazza which provided a beautiful reflection of the Basilica and tower. In the evening we enjoyed the live music provided by several of the restaurants along the perimeter.

If you are sitting at Florian or other high end cafe sit under the awing to avoid aggressive seagulls from snatching your food off the table like a scene out of Hitchcock's The Birds. Hordes of narcissists from every country in the world posing in the exact same way for their Instagram feeds cluttering the Piazza.

What a marvel...but...don't even think of eating/getting coffee here unless you understand: coffee is c. 10Euro...but walk thru, peak in the windows, stroll around listening to the music, feel the ambiance and then hit the narrow walkways for real food (read reviews...touristy places can have awful food...there are plenty of great restaurants if you search)

A beautiful modern apartment located in a quiet lane about 20 m from the Canal Grande and halfway between Piazza San Marco and Rialto bridge — it couldn’t be any more central, yet pleasantly quiet. There is a decent sized Despar market just around the corner. The building has a shared courtyard with a gate which feels very safe. There is even a lift.

Excellent location within spitting distance of Piazza San Marco yet in a "quiet" backwater behind the Teatro Fenice. What not to like when you have the gondolieri singing impromptu arias beneath your hotel window in the evenings. Magical.

AMAZING location - 1 minute easy walk to Piazza San Marco (I timed it!) but at the end of a quiet side street. No view but could see the canal from the very nice modern bathroom. Easy set of solid, wide stairs with handrail from attractive lobby to apartment which was all on one level. Great size bedrooms with comfy beds, plenty of space and decent small kitchen for breakfast/simple meals. Great communication from the helpful host.

The location is fantastic, close to the Rialto Bridge and Piazza San Marco. Monica and Alberto were amazing and kept in contact throughout our whole stay, answering questions quickly. The amenities in the apartment were fantastic. The shower cubicle was very tight, but we also know that this is how bathrooms are designed in Italy, so only a very minor inconvenience.
