Brand New hotel. Opened 7 days before we came. Very central and safe location. Metro which takes you straight to Plaka or Acropolis is 300 meters. The staff was super supportive and very courteous and helpful, we checked in late with children and elderly. The rooms are super nice and big, extremely very clean and comfortable. The breakfast on the top floor was great too. I recommend this hotel and will always come back to this hotel when in Athens.

Fantastic location, walking distance from all landmarks, plenty of restaurants and cafes. The room was clean and quiet, air condition soundless (a very big plus for us). The management was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed staying here and would visit again!

Our first visit to Athens, what a city! Our choice of hotel was fortunately completely spot on. The location is great for walking to any mayor places of interest. The neighbourhood is nice and save and there are several great small shops in the street, I actually bought all my presents for the 'kids' back home just across the street. The hotel is recently opened so everything is new, clean and well maintained. 'Welcome' at the reception was very friendly and efficient, they upgraded us to a room with terrace and outdoor jacuzzi. What a treat! Actually I can only praise everyone at the reception, they were all so friendly and helpful. Arranged taxi's in the evening to drive us to restaurants further away and even kept out luggage in storage as we had a late flight when we left. The room as mentioned was excellent, large, comfy bed, good sized bathroom with walk inn shower, magnifying mirror and quality vanity items as well a large terrace to enjoy the sun. And I really appreciated the Nespresso machine in the room. I brought my own capsules though because 2 euro for one capsule provided by the hotel is really adding to your bill if you drink 2 triple espresso's in the morning... The entire hotel and room were spotless clean. Breakfast is served in the bar on the ground floor of the hotel. It was very good. Besides the buffet part you can choose 'a la carte', which is smart as you will be served with a freshly prepared nice selection of dishes of your choice. All in all: This was a really great experience and we will be happy to return to Praxitelous Luxury Suites and will recommend it to anyone visiting Athens. You won't regret! Thanks to the entire team, we will be back, Athens is a stunning city and your hotel is a remarkable one, for a reasonable price.

Plenty of graffiti and broken streets, homeless people and drug addicts passed out on the street with syringes and everything in between. Walk on the the main avenues and you are fine or take a taxi from the square /station when you first get there with your luggage. It is not worth the hassle of figuring out where to go.

Don't waste your time visiting Athens. It's a dump.

Don't waste your time visiting Athens. It's a dump. Graffiti is everywhere. There were people openly taking drugs in the street. We booked to take an open top bus ride for my wife's birthday. The bus traveled for one stop and told all the passengers to get off as he had finished work for the day (at 4pm !). Thousands of tourists trying to see the ancient attractions. No consideration given to the wellbeing of people queuing for hours in really hot weather. Don't go to Athens. It seems the Greeks have lost all pride in their capital. Go to places where you are treated best, certainly not this dump.

Stay away! I was there with my family including kids.

Stay away! I was there with my family including kids. This is a very rough area of Athens. You do not want to expose your kids, or yourself for that matter, to this misery. Openly shooting heroin in the streets and homeless destitute souls on every corner. It is a picture of the hard reality a poor country will suffer through when getting even poorer. You will get many chances to give a small sum to the many beggars around Omonia Square, I guess every little helps. There are more tranquil areas in Athens.

Overall, our stay at Ermass Modern Living Apartments was great. The rooms were clean, modern and well-equipped with kitchenettes, offering a comfortable base for exploring Athens. The rooftop area provided a pleasant spot to relax after a day of sightseeing. The location was convenient, with Omonia Square and the National Archaeological Museum nearby, making it easy to access public transportation. While the surrounding area had some challenges, the apartment itself offered a peaceful retreat.

I have no complaints about breakfast. Everything was good. The hotel is new and affordable. The hotel is located in such a place that all historical places can be reached on foot. The only downside is that it is located in Omonia square where locals do not recommend walking at night.

Ambrosia Suites provided me with a safe space to store my luggage and also offered breakfast at 5 euros. This was when I had just arrived at Omonia Square and had not yet reserved a room. They provided a spacious lounge to rest, which was very relaxing after a long journey from Johannesburg to Athens. Later, the room I booked was neat and provided a calm ambience. Breakfast was very sumptuous. Communication at all times was excellent.

Very central location, 5 minutes walk from Omonia Sq, and walkable to Plaka, Acropolis. A cosy room. All you need for a few days in Athens. The guys on the desk are friendly and very helpful. Having breakfast included is a real bonus. But there are many bakeries on Omonia Square with great coffee.

Great location near Panepistimiou, 10 mins walk to Syntagma, 5 mins walk to the metro. Good public transport from the airport. There's a good supermarket near the metro station. The pillows where too hard but the bed was comfy. It was a big apartment for the price though. I felt safe walking around the area after dark although it was near Omonia Square.

Avoid Omonia square and it's surroundings at night especially if you are women. Be careful with the cabs, some of them are rude and try to make you pay crazy rates.
