Our host Houston was super friendly, kind and knowledgeable about the local area. A very special place to stay - close to the beach, very remote, sleep with the sound of nature and a lovely hot tub to boot.

Ocean View Paradise! is gelegen in Hawaiian Ocean View, op 48 km van St. Benedict Roman Catholic Church, en biedt gratis WiFi, gratis privéparkeren en uitzicht op de zee. Great place to rest your soul! Relax in the hot tub and watch the stars and the Milky Way! Troy is a great host too, responsive and helpful. Ocean View Paradise is a calm oasis and a great home base to some of the greatest beaches in this world and volcano national Park. There are also supermarkets, restaurants and food trucks close by as well as coffee plantations for your morning coffee. We will come back if we can!

Kona Magic Honu Room ligt in Kailua-Kona, op 2 minuten lopen van White Sands Beach Park en 14 km van Kaloko-Honokohau National Historic Park. Het was een fijne host. Je zit vlakbij een prachtig strand waar je heerlijk zonsondergang kan kijken. Het is 10 min van het centrum af en dichtbij stranden, dat vonden wij heel fijn.

Orchid Tree B&B beschikt over een zwembad, een tuin, een terras en uitzicht op het zwembad, en biedt accommodatie met gratis WiFi in Hilo. Orchid tree is exceptionally beautiful, totally solar powered with a beautiful pool, hot tub and landscaping, a large lanai for relaxing and the room is truly large with lounge able furniture , pristine clean. Many places we’ve stayed give you pictures that don’t really represent the place when you arrive. However orchid tree is wonderful as are the hosts, both friendly and responsive ! Breakfast was just fine with fresh fruit, yogurt, granola and a good selection of Juices , breads, cream cheese, etc as well as freshly ground coffee. (Plenty for us but if you are an egg type there’s always places in town). But the lanai, the waves crashing, the superb coffee, we didn’t need more!

Kilauea Lodge and Restaurant ligt op 17 km van Kilauea, en biedt een 3-sterrenaccommodatie in Volcano en heeft een tuin, een gedeelde lounge en een bar. We stayed at the Lodge for 3 nights and fall in love immediately. The staff was very friendly, the room was absolutely cute and perfectly cleaned and the dinner at the Lodge was excellent (you should try the Volcanoes wine made in the area!). Drinking water and parking were for free. The location was great, since we were there for hiking in the Volcanoes National Park, which is only 5-10 mins drive away. You can use the fire place in the common area for free and enjoy a relaxing evening. There is no TV in the room, which we loved. Time to talk and read a book. A rain forest nature trail belongs to the Lodge's area as well.

Dit luxe resort in Kailua-Kona beschikt over volledig ingerichte suites met 1 en 2 slaapkamers, 11 tennisbanen en 6 zwembaden, omgeven door tropische landschappen. De kamer was echt prachtig, heel ruim en schoon met een keuken. We waren ook erg tevreden met de voorzieningen op het resort, een zwembad met bubbelbad en diverse sportgelegenheden. Alles zag er netjes uit. Personeel was heel vriendelijk. Het ligt heel gunstig als je wilt gaan snorkelen met Manta's, op loopafstand. En de golfbaan ligt ook om de hoek. We hebben een heel prettig verblijf gehad.

Ocean-View 1BR Condo on Black Sands Beach, Pool, Hot Tub is gelegen op 7 minuten lopen van Punalu'u Black Sand Beach, en biedt accommodatie in Pahala met toegang tot een hot tub. Wonderful condo, great development, easy walk to beach and quick drive to coffee roasters, scenic beaches and volcanos!

Shores at Waikoloa 132 Hale Kai is gelegen in Waikoloa, dicht bij Anaeho'omalu Beach, en biedt accommodatie met buitenzwembad, fietsen, een privéstrand, een fitnesscentrum en een tuin. Great location. Spacious, clean, lovely outdoor dining/relaxing space. Beach/swimming equipment provided. Kitchen well equipped and clean.
